I didn't run any screens. That would have been useless to the test. Both QB's generally scorched the defense. But there wasn't anything from a naked eye perspective that you could tell the difference between the 2 quarterbacks. Bad passes, hurries, completions, yards, progression speed, the WR's they hit....all pretty much identical like it was the same exact quarterback playing each game.

QBs have to be humble, they cant have too much confidence makes sense

Yeah I probably wasn't. Is there somewhere that is specifically dedicated to discussing the test server tests?

And, if they scorched the defense then wouldn't confidence be much less of an issue than if they were struggling and threw some interceptions?

I saw a replay on QB confidence but that was back before Bort made some changes. Are you referring to a later test?

QB I am pretty certain was based off of Homage's QB at that point. At least a relatively close version of that.

Take him with 60 confidence and then with 140.

It might have been in one of those game discussion threads. But I said it in multiple places. Most notably in some GLB main thread that was a long thread about confidence and bad throws/hurries.

So it was the test from over a year ago?

What I'm asking is was there another QB confidence test scrim ran since the one ran last summer? Bort changed confidence to make it more powerful about 4 or 5 months after that test was ran. Wasn't sure if someone had revisited it on the test server after the buff.

There were a couple outlier games where both QB's would have a couple INT's and what not. But that happened to both of them. I don't believe confidence to really effect those events as much as the event itself effecting everything beyond that though.

Sim hasn't really changed much since those tests. Sim still revolves around all the same concepts.

Actually, Bort was supposed to beef up confidence to ward off bad passes. This happened at least a few months after that test.

Well I hope these could at least post at test server forum.

He did make a change to the DT zone, shrunk it down so they don't impact the QB so much.

But how did their pass quality differ? Of course there' s no way for anyone to know, not even Bort unless he created some script to show it play by play. And there are a lot of factors that effect pass quality. But since you say the QBs scorched the D, there really isn't any reason to believe much went on that would impact pass quality. Run another test, but with Super DEs & DTs that will scare the crap out of a QB and see what happens.
