Been here since S2. Have been a one man team since S12. Went to One-Man Status because half the players in the league (at that time) didn't seem to understand why their shitty dots weren't starters, and it took as much time to explain it to them as it does to just upgrade all the EQ on 55 of my own players. So I said fuck-it-all and built my own team.
Won 1 chip in S15 with the Trap Road Spiders and came within a game of going to the Championship game a bunch of other times. Now, thanks to the sheer boredom of the game and the fact that I don't plan to put any more real money into this game, I run a non-boost team and do my thing when I get time.
I have never won a chip with any group of agents I have ever played with. No disrespect to MOST of them, but when you win one by yourself, it's actually more fun than many of you will ever know. I don't need to 'virtually high five' a bunch of other guys. I don't need to troll forums claiming to be the faux best along with a group of other people I don't know.
Would I ever form a team with anyone ever again? Sure. If the right people asked. Those 'right' people are people I have grown to respect in the forums and watching them build dots. I'll never say who they are. No need to advertise that. But if that happened, I'd be more than happy to just build a group of players and try to win Chips with them. I'd spend time and even a few dollars, and it might become fun again. Until that happens, I'm fine being a one-man band, doing my thing when I make time.
