Really depends on the heat of the fire, and the temp of the flame. The short one would burn slower though, cause short things are slow.

So the visually impaired can use them, of course. People who are totally blind or severely visually impaired normally don't drive, but they might have a friend drive them around to run errands, or take a cab. If a blind person is a passenger in a car, they ought to be able to take advantage of the convenience of the drive-up ATM, too.

Gotcha! Candles don't burn longer, they burn shorter!

#2 as in 2nd grade (in terms of darkness).

A #1 is darker but it's softer which means you'd need to resharpen it more. A #3's marks would be lighter than a #2.

Well, there was once an incident during a really hard test, this kid broke from the stress and killed his entire school with a #1 pencil, which led the government to ban all #1 pencils
