Also, why do the defenders lead the guy down the field in man?? In all my years of coaching football i have never told a CB to run IN FRONT of a receiver going down field.

Overshoots WR by like 7-8 yards and then just stops and watches him run by. Is this some kind of divine punishment for only having single coverage?



yep..this is exactly the stuff im pissed about...i understand they are rookies..but that does mean they should run around randomly..or AT LEAST the wr, who i am sure has less vision than the CBs..should run 10 yards past the ball at times a well..since im sure he doesnt see it coming either

I only saw one kid cry in 4 years and that was because his leg got gruesomely snapped in half returning a kick.

I wish the leagues had different names so everyone would stop taking the league names so literally. Like there is really a professional American football league in Africa. Leagues under the Pro leagues cost money and should be fun too. That is the one shitty part of the game having to wait a year or whatever for a dot to do things. I've seen many get bored with the game and quit because they just did not have the patience to wait. You all might laugh at people who play peewee here but if it were not for peewee I would have been gone a long time ago. The name it's self has hurt the perpetual league more than anything else because you all can't differentiate between a browser game and real life.

Ok then tell me why a WR without almost any agility or vision can stop on a dime and catch the ball but a CB with double the agility and vision keeps running another 5-10 yards? Not only that but the WR starts moving almost right away while the CB stands around day dreaming. Why do they not both over run the play every time while the ball lands 7 yards on the ground behind both of them. For the love of god the last sentence was not a suggestion.

exactly...if my cb cant see the ball coming with 20 vision..then how come the wr sees it every time? there NO vision check to see the ball for the wr? and in man coverage my cb is supposed to be watching his MAN...how can he not see the guy in right in front of him start to stop???

Stop comparing the game to real life. Fix your builds.

70 agility means you don't have the speed or the vision or the tackling needed to see the play develop and to get in position.

I really can't believe that after all these seasons we get huge cry fests about dots, who in this case have 70 agil and nothing else, can't cover a WR.

because the WR knows what the play is pre snap, your CB has to read and react. His 20 vision doesn't allow him to do this.
