I mean with all the d alignment changes...a lot of things offense liked in the pass game is going to change to something else...RQB might not be any good any more. Pitch plays will have some different layouts.

Granted I know things change at a whim when Day 0 hits even from what is being tested now. But it is gonna be different no matter.

I can see the offseason being shortened Day 41 to Day 43 without making a huge impact.

The simplest solution would be to simply give everyone the TPs they would have gotten for the days they cut off the offseason. This allows build plans to stay static, yet not tie GLB's hand to always having a 8 day offseason.

Why would that be simple? Some people just need a little break and some time to formulate a team ffs.

For the record, I don't mind the 8 day offseason. However, it would be ridiculously easy for Bort to code that, if he wanted to keep build plans in place yet shorten the offseason. Just saying the argument that it hurts build plans is really a non-argument.

Build plans have no relevance other than training points. The offseason gives time for Bort to get the information needed in order to make the changes that need to be made and gives time to teams for recruiting. 8 days has significant relevance in recruiting.

Pretty sure they have said multiple times that being out of Beta doesn't mean the game won't expand beyond what it is.
