btw i havent read this crappy thread but I remember talking to Kwak about this in preseason. seems like it depends on the progression., if you pick a longer progression as your first play it will hold that progression until the WR/TE enters the sweet spot of the play. I tend to go with a shorter route first since I know the WR/TE will enter the sweetspot early in the route which somehow lets the QB know its OK to move on to the other progressions. The delay only seems to be on the first progression.
There are a lot of problems with this game. Don't expect to get any of them fixed.

yea I would be pissed if my QB ever threw passes away, although its EE's QB so I never know what to expect

I have to agree. It's definitely frustrating watching the QB stare down a receiver that is double covered for 5 seconds and then force the ball to him. Ugh!

is it frustrating when that QB stares down that same WR and does a pump fake and the WR performs a fake of his own and goes 60 yards for the td because the blitz can't make it to the qb in 5 minutes?

One positive to come from this is you no longer have to worry about the 75% favor chance from go to guy, QB is throwing to 1st progression anyways. 15% PQ bonus coming easy these days
