no excuses, 49ers played much better then the packers in all aspects.. but how hard is it to put a spy on the QB? or get 1 play with pressure for that matter.

Look at the start of the Viking game. It was the same thing. Webb just couldn't make a throw or we woulda been lit up by them too.

I have been bitching about Capers too. But he is dealing with 3 backup linebackers. If he goes to a zone you'd have to think Woodson is the spy. Great. Nobody will get a pass rush as they will double and triple Matthews. So we have a zone with Walden and Hawk covering the slot and Vernon Davis. As Packer dams, you know how that would turn out. Davis would hav had 200 yards receiving.
Our LB corp needs massive work. Perry comes back we get more pass rush, bit he can't cover. Missed Bishop in a big way. Jones got owned in the playoffs.
Offensive playcalls are shit too. Tired of 15-20 routes on 3rd and 2. Get the damn first down and quit going for the home run all the time.
