Not arrested but I was caught twice in the same night by the same cop!
Some pretty smooth talking was required the 2nd time!

It varies from state to state AND if you're out of state when it happens. And, yes... they DO end up overnight. A lot.

I was let out the first night on one of my DUI's. The other ones I had to sit something like 8-10 hours in holding before they would allow me to be signed out. I know of 2 people that have had 2 DUI's in a single day.

Actually I think it more so is a county differential but it certainly does vary. I have had someone come get me all 3 times but only once was I able to be bailed out immediately after I was processed.
