7. forums are decent, building is kinda fun depending on what youre building and who the coordinator controlling your dot is. owning a team is awesome, OCing is fun yet difficult.

idk. pretty solid game even though ive been playing for over four years.

At one time the forums would provide hours of enjoyment. Now they are just trash.

I miss the high action high stats sim...that was fun

Needs a slot between casual(not enough control) and normal(way too much to control)

I'll give it 8.5, because I still like the game the way it is. I still enjoy the challenge of the sim, unlike the lazies who think everything should be perfect at any level of play.

Was much higher when we had high quality mods such as Ashemomo and Vanilla thunder running things but since they left the quality of the whole game has gone downhill and nothing seems to happen most days. Before you could have a new reply as soon as you posted but these days you go hours without a response

I'd give the game an 8.

I would give it a higher mark if we had a variation of every play on offense out of every formation as well as a DPC that didn't break the sim. ;]

7 - It's a good nuts and bolts football sim. The user base is like walking thru a cactus field but every now and then, you find a flower instead of a prick.

I'd give it a 7. Building is still a bit too slow and the level of people interaction is much less than it used to be. I enjoy the anticipation of building dots and game-planning. Honestly, if it wasn't for owning a team and coordinating, I'd have stopped paying long ago. I really enjoy OC-ing when I can devote enough time to it.

I used to care enough to at least try to maximize my player's training. Now, I only log in to hit train and hope I don't miss a cap while sitting on 20+ SP. I think this is the first time I've looked at the forum in two weeks.

What's this stuff about a new release? Are we finally getting a player wipe?

4 mostly because the sim still feels like a flawed high speed arena football game on roids.

While I am happy for the free players I still dislike the fact that non boosters can NEVER compete with a boosted team like they can in that baseball sim. Also the fact that if you screw up one thing in your build you are pretty much doomed and your players will never be good because build variety is completely absent. It's just all a bunch of cookie cutter builds that are built the same way.

Let's face it even on the weirdest of sundays the cardinals can beat the patriots but of course in this game you will never see that happen because the elite team will win the matchup every time. One thing that baseball sim gets right is the fact that bad teams have a chance(Although a slim one) to beat the elite teams a couple or more times a season. Scores and stats are pretty realistic, championship calibur teams have occasional blunders against the bottom feeders like they should no 162-0 every season garbage, most seasons the best teams are in the 110-130 win range.

I say 8

Its good when things get fixed and suggestions are read and support rethinks lets give that a try and see how it rolls. It bad when we get dry spells of nothing coming from support or agents and things drag along until something sparks.

It's hard for me to put a number on it, I've never played a game for near as long and I've never played one that used so many different parts of my brain or allowed to be as little or as much involved as I wanted. The sim underneath the replays is so to try and decifer that I don't even care that's it's just dots. So in those respects it's a clear 10, even the flaws in the sim don't really take away from the game for me because I'm not looking for a perfect game, I'm looking for a fun one, and I enjoy clicking the mouse on this web site a great deal.

But there is some shit with this game that are so mind bogglingly unkempt I can't even believe it. I tried to figure out the luxury tax rules the other day and gave up after half an hour because I just couldn't find it. I've been here for 4 years, how the hell am I still having to hunt for basic rules to the game? You don't look shit up on this site, because looking something up implies that the information is there in the first place. I don't even know what number to put on that, it's just ridiculous and it breaks the spirit of new users before they can even watch their dot throw a fake.

But that's just me, most of the people I tell about this game get "yeah, you probably wouldn't like it." from me unless they're just the right kind of long attention span nerd who likes football. I know a lot of people who like football, and a lot of nerds, but there is very little overlap.
