There is no way to assign a specific value to the flex "lost" without knowing the initial price paid to get the flex. Each time you buy a larger amount of flex you get a better discount.

I think that was done assuming that flex used paid for at full price

From experience, its fun to play GLB as a booster and as a non-booster

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

16 regular scrims x 25 flexies = 400 flex per season + team ownership x 400 flexies

Plus if you want to be at least semi-competitive, figure a handful of instant scrims to sort out that season's changes, call it 200.

So about 1000 flex per season as an owner. (none of it refunded)

Not too terrifying, and probably the only reason Bort + co. haven't come down harder on the no/no crowd. It's still keeping some people interested who can't afford the eye popping price of the booster side. And the owners in total, looking at the sizes of the various no/no leagues are pumping in about 60,000 flex at 0% return in every season.

i think TIME, not MONEY, is the barrier to most people trying to build a full 55-man boosted team on their own.

If GLB is still around when I retire I'd get a couple Hall of Fame packs and give it a go.
