If we use the Dub J Standardized Metric (DJSM) for measuring how good a league is (# of forum threads) then pee wee is still super popular:
9114 threads in pee wee league forums (not including recruiting thread)
5902 threads in regular league forums
2532 threads in casual

So pee wee players are either vocal and annoying (also true) or there are a lot of people who care.

that's a horrible way to measure, considering most of the threads made were before pee wee died.

As opposed to pulling "less than 1% of active users" out of your ass?

Yes, PW is dead. When there are literally 0-3 posts in the Gold forum every day it's a pretty good indication PW is dead. When there are typically two or three CPU teams in PW Gold every preseason, PW is dead. When there are so many non-boosters in PW Gold, PW is dead. When there are so many ridiculous blow-outs in PW Gold, PW is dead.

I've owned teams in all three league types and can tell you from experience PW is the most dull of the three. PW is so devoid of life it's depressing.

Nobody wants to completely throw away flex points even more ridiculously than we are throwing our money away buying flex. This game desperately needs more kick back to the Teams who are successful. IF you went and played a softball tournament (for example) and you have your entry fee for each team, the winner gets at least their money back. In this game you pay and pay some more and get 0 in return.. Not even some nonrefundable rewards points..

Rookie league and casual league are all human owned teams. Pee wee has 127 CPU teams and at least 30 human teams with all CPU rosters.

Maybe 1% is low but there is no way it's more then 10-15% of active users.

That's probably more accurate.

Another way to look at it is that, by my count, there are 136 teams in tournaments currently in normal leagues, and 16 in pee wee.
16/152 = 10.5%. Yeah, that may not be completely accurate because of bye weeks and some of those teams in either league type may be half empty, but I don't want to go through all that work for a detailed #.

I noticed you really don't get outside peewee much. Take it from someone associated with both regular and peewee...there is much more competition and forum activity in the regular leagues than peewee. It's not even close.

Peewee gold is as competitive as most elite leagues and far more competitive than rookie IMO.

You have to keep in mind when comparing rookie to peewee comparing it to peewee copper is more apples to apples.

I've never won a trophy in Pee Wee Gold.. I've taken 2 teams to Conference championship games in the same season in Regional Minor Elite #1 and won a League trophy in Regional Minor Elite #1. Also took my own team w/ terrible dots to a Conference championship game in National Minor Elite #1 as well.

Moral of the story: Pee Wee Gold is a tough League... There are a few gimme games, but it's like that in most Leagues. I've gone 15-1 in National MInor Elite #1.. I've never come close to that record in Pee Wee Gold. My best season in Pee Wee Gold was probably 13-3...

Back in season 17, 18 and 19 I was lucky to go .500 in Pee Wee Gold.

My lolteam has 7 wins in PW gold. If I gameplanned for tomorrow's game (which I won't lol) we would have a legit shot at 8 wins.

This was exactly my thoughts. I've never even won a playoff game in gold. It's nothing like it use to be but the top teams are still great and the the others are competitive. Peewee as a whole is terminal under the current game structure.

PWG isn't what it used to be, but it's still a very hard league to win a trophy in.

In season's past, you would often see(per conference)...
5 A-level teams.
5 B-level teams.
5 C-level teams.
1 CPU team.

Now, it's more like...
3 A-level teams.
3 B-level teams.
6 C-level teams.
4 CPU teams.

Now you have C-level teams able to make the playoffs and not get demoted where in season's past, those C-level teams would fight to not get demoted. And while there are less A & B level teams, the fact that those teams still exist is the reason it's hard to win a trophy in PWG and most fail.

So ya, PWG isn't as good as it used to be, but it's by no means an easy league.
