I replace maybe 1 player every couple seasons, so i never have chemistry problems. But it wouldn't hurt my feelings if bort completely removed it from the game.

2) As for 85, what you describe has nothing to do with chemistry, but more about a skill requirement to run certain routes and or "vision" requirement to learn a new system (and yes, I have posted suggestions to incorporate that). And Ocho's woe's also has nothing to do with TEAM WIDE impact. That he could not learn a route did not make the punter worse, or the linebackers. But it would in GLB. Stupid.
3) So you think Chemistry actually is hampering the network teams??? No way. All it does is make them swap out their older dots in a staggered pattern. Swap 11 players a season, as noted above, is close to irrelevant under the chemistry system (78/90/88 chem Day 42, 94/100/100 for a .3%, .2%, .1% penalty for game 1, 2 and 3). With a five season plateau that means they can always have a full roster of plateau players with no impact from chemistry. Larger networks are the only ones that could do that. So far from being useful to curb the powers of Super Networks, Chemistry gives them and them alone an advantage (and the huge solo owner of course who can do the same thing if he chose, trust me, I have thought about it and mapped it out myself, but solo is boring sad and lonely).
4) As for not being remotely over powered, do you think that a 2 to 9 percent attribute penalty is NOT impactful to game play?????? Really???? So you think the Premium Promotions should not be limited in use???????? Because heck a 1% boost must be entirely meaningless to you, right?
So, sorry but I do not think you have fully thought this through.
2) To create the kind of chemistry loss you are speaking of that is more than 1/5th of the team replaced. Stop being silly and accept that is a team wide problem. If we were talking about just one player you would have zero problems with chemistry.
3) I don't think chemistry hampers any good teams to the extreme you make it. But you are silly if you think networks are replacing just 11 dots a season when they do a roster turnover.
4) When someone premiums OffTopica do you look at that game and consider it an auto loss? lol...of course you do. But when someone premiums me it isn't.

If you honestly think that Teams that stuck together for long periods of time aren't better then teams that change over half their roster every season, in any sport, then you don't know how sports work.
If you want something to help chemistry hits try a suggestion of something like higher CON lessen the effects on your players, since if you are more confidence in your abilities you should be able to throw to anyone, block along side anyone, run behind anyone, ETC. But making Chemistry useless by game 8 simply because you can't keep a team together for the long haul ,makes it worthless, an you might as well just get rid of it.

No, I just send dots to World League teams that do just fine despite starting most seasons in the dumper in regard to chemistry.

I honestly think that teams that kept their kickers back ups and special teamers were no better than teams that did not, yes.
I honestly think that while some cohesion on your cadre may help in certain interactions (see my VA suggestions above, eg leadership, QB knowing where to throw ball to receiver etc) I do not think that the best way of representing that is to give the entire membership of a team who does not have such cadre cohesion a penalty to all players on every down.
I honestly think that whatever the benefit may or may not be, that it is should not be anything CLOSE to what it is now. Hence my OP suggestion to leave it the same, but make the penalty less.
And do not blame this on me. LOOK THE FRACK AROUND.
There is a 14 FOURTEEN chem team in Canada Pro ffs. 50s and 60s all over the place.
I know you all think its all about me - and I appreciate the compliment - but its not.
Its about the game.
And the game blows a little bit more than it should due to the Chemistry system.

Yes yes we all know about the size of your e-peen.
But that doesn't make the teams who can never put together a winning season because the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then the chemistry hamstrings them and they then lose and then lose lots of players and then

2) I don't think you are following the train of thought here. Re-read and try again. You were suggesting that chemistry is there to protect us from uber network teams. I specifically described how a uber network team or an agent who wanted to spend enough flex could laugh at the existing chemistry system by replacing just 20% of his team every season and never ever have more than a .3% chem penalty.
3) I am not making up the math. Do it yourself. If you replace 22 dots as I did, you will have up to a 2.1% penalty that lingers for ten games (the exact figure will vary by distribution of the replacements between O and D). As for no network replacing just 11 players and exactly 11 players every season, if they are not then they are doing it wrong.
4) Obviously its not an auto loss. But that premium is certainly an advantage. And its HALF the size of a moderate 22 player roster move penalty. Some teams suffer two or three more times that penalty.
You guys crack me up. Teams will finesse VAs to get a bonus % here and there to gain an advantage. Yet you sit here with straight faces and pretend that a 2 to 9 percent team wide penalty is not a big deal.
Its laughable.
As for Chemistry rewards sticking together, no it doesn't. It punishes those who do not have a network of players and have to rely on free agency.
If if rewarded sticking together the bonus would go up for the number of seasons they stuck together, and give the team that stuck together the longest the advantage over the team that had only stuck together a season. My VAs would do that. But the Chemistry system we has does not, it just fraks over the teams that lose players.
Its a punishment, pure and simple.
And thats dumb.

You want chemistry to be meaningless. That doesn't make chemistry overpowered, just make you wrong.
Many good people above view the chemistry penalty as reasonable. It is time to swim with the flow, and let this one go.
Again, penalizing a team for 3 games of a 16 game season is NOT meaningless.
Perhaps you should look up "Clue".
And no, not sticking with the flow. Every season chemistry doesnt get fixed, I flex another dot that I would have kept and therefore spend less money on flex.
The ground is already littered with them.
Bort wants to ignore me thats fine. But its money out of his pocket. Not much but some, and it adds up.
And thats just a symbol. Many more agents just walk out the door in frustration without ever talking about it in the forums. Just look at how many fewer teams there are than their used to be if you doubt it.

I find your tirade about chemistry amusing in that they could take it away and it still wouldn't change any of offtopicas overall woes. In fact probably would just add to them as every one of your opponents would be just that much better.

Oh FFS this is not about OffTopica. Look at a frakking conference and check out the chemistry. MANY teams have this problem.
This is about GLB and game design 101.
Game features that annoy and punish the customer are bad for business.
Simulation features that inaccurately simulate aspects of the game subject are broken.
Chemistry should be done primarily by carrot not stick, and it should more closely reflect what "chemistry" is in real football which is more about individual relationships and is a minor facet of the game not a team wide rat frakking.

The better owners don't have this problem (well, except Wise's Hedgehogs I guess......lol). I think it has been brought up here somewhere, but it is no coincidence that the better owners in the game do not have the chem issues you complain about every season, because the players tend to want to stay there versus saying "get me off this scrub team immediately".
Win more, make more people happy, and you wont have this issue.

you aren't losing the 1st 3 games because of chemistry. You lose because you don't understand the basics on how to actually win. using the right AI is 1000x more important than chemistry. Even IF your idiotic assumption that you'll loe the 1st 3 games were true, would still only need to go 9-4 the rest of the season to make the playoffs. Based on your incredible records last season, I believe that half the posters here could take a cpu team and beat you.
