Personally me I would be just as happy to send my players to a Casual World League then a Regular World League



It wouldn't change anything about recruiting. Casual would still be RNG play calls and Regular leagues would still be coordinators running specific plays for players. The people that send their players to regular leagues do so because they want their specific player that they built for specific schemes used correctly. WL will always be considered top of the game as that is where the hardcore users spend their time.

lol im pretty sure these suggestions aren't screwing the casual population out of any respect. A casual league that is taken pretty serious by some. Irony at its best.

really for the ones of us that do play casual and enjoy playing it. due to not having to spend a ton of time working on AI's and gameplanning. it is suggestions like this that get us made fun of even more than usual crap. seriously I read the thread and the biggest thing that has been mentioned is the added little flags that WL has.

we all know that a WL in casual wouldn't help recruiting. It wouldn't magically make more players play casual just to say that they played in casual WL. I mean seriously the suggestion wouldn't help the casual community much if any at all. on the contrary it would make a few things worse. for one thing it would mean adding more leagues to actually tier the system to make sense in having a WL. so essentially that would water down the player pool even more especially since casual isn't exactly busting at the seams with dots now. second no one outside of casual would recognize the casual WL as much of anything more that a copycat league that wouldn't measure up to the real WL.

I consider myself hardcore Casual I just dont have the time to do regular so I have been all casual for like 8 seasons or so. The flag comment was a joke but it would be cool to have them. As for the World League and Casual World League we as players make it as we make it. We dont need a full fledge Regular set up why dont we make the World Casual League set up so it could succeed for the Casual Lovers.

Regular can have there show and that is fine. Why cant Casual have our show and be our own set up? Why is it such a big deal to regulars? I mean go play your regular game sit in front of the computer neglect your kids neglect your wife and spend 12 hours making an AI I have no problem with that.

Let the Casual lovers run there league set up they want it run. You all bitch about changing the game play of casual which I am not doing I am just saying let us have our cool league set up with a better name then Casual Pro.

What is in the name tho?

You have 2 leagues forming Casual Pro.

WL has 8 world regions making up their league. It is called the World League because it is made up of USA, South East Aisa, Europe (West and East), Africa, Canada, South America, and Oceania.

How about this?

Regional Casual Elite #1 = Black League
Regional Casual Elite #2 = White League
Casual Pro = Ying Yang League

I can understand what you are saying and I do agree it would be nice for casual players to have some sort of different Identity for the top league of casual. but I do not see a name change or a change in the league structure improving the casual game enough to help.

It keeps it evolving. stagnation sucks, and is the next logical step for casual.

I understand what your saying but it might get 1 more player and if that happens then that is good.

no you wouldn't. I promise, and I am a casual guy that recruits heavily for a pretty solid CasPro team. Changing the name won't help with anything. They are either going to play casual, or they aren't. You won't change their mind, and changing the name of the league won't change their mind.

I also agree with hatcman that this thread (nor anything contained in it) does nothing to promote dots wanting to play in casual.

That is why I don't like the idea at this time. If you have enough Casual teams to make 8 relatively even pro leagues to make it actually tough to get into a WL, then yes. But if you only have 2 leagues, then there isn't that need to make more out of it.
