Super Vision----this player has great football sense, he far less likely to be faked out by pump fakes, head fakes and jukes
additional lvls: increases the bonus to avioding fakes

how can you not think that AF% would not augment this SA?

AF improves your base vision check. SV involves a special roll against your level of SV that can negate or reduce an already failed fake roll.

do you have a Bort quote on that, or is that just what you think it does?

It's what all % AEQ does. You have scores based on your attributes and SAs which are then given a % boost based upon AEQ/VAs.

Would be nice to get specifics from Bort about how af% works, but I suspect that it does modify some base anti-fake score based on your vision, agility, etc.

Because one is a special roll all by itself and the other is a modification of your initial roll. They are completely separate.

So how did our badly built CB do?

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1998989&playoffs=0

40 receptions allowed and targeted only 63 times. Like a 64% completion rated against your CB!

38 tackles 7 missed...very few KL or deflects. 2 INTs ..gratz!

And somehow your team overcame your bad dot play and made the playoffs. Well to them on that and for signing you.

You're talking shit about a dot that started on a team that just won GLB on the back of a dominant defensive performance? lolu

A very quick run down of how your CBs did against WL teams:
Semarang: 5/4 trg/alld for cheeck, 3/2 w/ 1 int for golden
Sumatra: 6/3 and 1 missed tck for cheeck, 9/8 for golden
HHWC: 4/2 and 1 missed cheeck, 6/4 and 1 missed golden
Carthage: 2/1 cheeck, 0/0 w/ 1 missed golden
HHWC: 7/2 cheeck, 8/7 golden
Madcow: 3/3 cheeck 1 missed, 4/2 1 missed golden
dpride: 4/4 cheeck 2 missed, 6/2 golden
Nairobi: 5/2 cheeck 1 missed, 7/3 golden 2 missed

So for cheeck, that's 58% passes allowed with 6 missed tackles and for golden, that's 65% with 5 missed tackles and 1 INT. Extrapolate your missed tackles and INTs to a full season, and that's 12 missed for cheeck and 10 missed for golden, with possibly 2 INTs for golden. But wait, there's more. Those WL teams you were scrimming weren't actually trying at all to beat your team. Go through a full season where WL coordinators are game planning to beat your dots, and those guys will be doing awful.

So you keep talking shit while your team is in lolpro and can't even get past the third round of the Pro/WL tourny. I'll be happy knowing my CBs just helped their team win GLB and are wanted by one of the top 3 DCs in GLB.

That would be relevant if he was talking shit about Hood, but he was talking about your dot. Can you admit that your CB was pretty shitty (by WL standards) this season?

These numbers are all pretty meaningless.

Of course not. If he was shitty, then by extension his team should have been shitty. It's not like Hood was known for a horrible pass D (above average yards allowed per game, second to best in TDs allowed). You also have to account for him playing CB1, meaning he covers more screens (count as completions) and the way the HOOD D is arranged. He also didn't account for KLs counting as receptions allowed, so my CB only allowed 55% of passes his way to be caught (on the top end of HOOD CBs). I believe he also had the most forced turnovers (3) of the HOOD CBs. If he wants to talk shit, it would help for him to actually know what he's talking about.

CB2 actually covers more WR screens. Tho I dont think those count as Rec Allwd.

I'm pretty sure it was previously established that a screen counts as a completed pass against the nearest receiver.

All I hear is alot of excuses while everyone post legit numbers.

My problem with this is that CBs are your thing. Your claim, not mine. I believe I am a good dot builder but I don't act like I specialize at any position. You on the other hand do and some seem to have bought into that or those bad builds wouldn't be on WL teams.

I honestly think that your CBs were some of the better ones in the game.... 10 seasons ago. Now you look like a dinosaur. A builder that hasn't adjusted or stayed competitive with the changes.

Lastly being on WL teams you would think the DCs handling your players would be some of the best in the game. I havent done it myself yet but I would be very interested to see the numbers from your CBs compared to other CBs in WL.

Dont you agree that would be a more accurate?

With how slow your guys are then I'm guessing you don't get penalized much as the nearest receiver.
