seems like if you do that people do not take the time to look at that. I tried that last season and still had 120+ offers for 6 players I think. when most people on this game recruit they don't look much farther than just sending a blind offer.

I asked to add a 'Committed' option on a player about 10+ seasons ago...block all Offers except by designated Team(s).
This would be another one of those things that would go great with the Owner/Recruiter option of 'Automatic Offer Removal When X Players Sign at Position Y' and several of the other things people have come up with over the last 25+ seasons.

that would be a welcome addition as well. anything to keep from flooding my inbox with unwanted offers

Unfortunately, the player notes section isn't enough to stop the offers, even when it says your dot(s) is(are) unavailable.
Some people send PMs/offers as if a troll in the forums.

or people do not even read the notes and send blind offers for the players.
