Thats because cacthing, just like any other stat, needs to be complimented by other attributes. There is no such thing as just one attribute that has nothing else that effects it.

You don't need a ton of catching. I have level 18 WR with 23 catching and he had 4 drops in 2 seasons.

I have a level 26 with 45 catching and he has 12 drops this season alone.
