Maybe just go with some "play-in" type games for the lower seeds? Aka the top half of teams basically get a bye? Kinda like the official tourney does

Yea I agree.

I think he's going to struggle to fill the last spots up, might get 4-6 more but not 10+ I don't think.

That is what we did one other season. Just trying to get as many teams as we can. I sent out some PMs last night to the Gold teams that havent signed up and we got a couple more teams. Will do the same tonight to some Silver teams.
