I haven't had to do much recruiting in a long time. My approach is to find good agents and keep them and their players with my team or network for a long time.

Other people are coming at you with tanks and you've got a .22...only so much you can do.
EL's aren't the whole story but they do have validity...
Maybe you should consider upgrading. Just a thought

Let's wait and see what happens first. Everyone on our team is going to start the season with three boosts. Other teams? Not so much.

a lot of teams have started with the loyalty thing, but the truth is that you have to be ruthless to be competitive at the top levels. it's not impossible for a young team to slip into the playoffs in USA Pro (Doomsday Sin a couple seasons back), but the league is pretty loaded. you'll be battling against demotion unless there's a few guts.

Ruthless? *maybe* for WL success (idk I've never had it amirite) but certainly not in USAPro.

Guy just has a young team. Letting his team hit L72's in 2 seasons >>> trying to revamp it right now with old peeps imho.

Oh and the reason you haven't had to recruit is because your dots haven't hit decline yet. Keeping a team together through the caps is easy pickum's bro. The challenge is being able to keep the team together a high levels without having to gut/reset like RIRW every 3 days.

Half our team will next season too...

And this is the 3rd wave of guys with the same core of agents that we've run through pro.

Point is, There are 2 groups of teams in Pro now, those at plateau fighting to get out (up to the WL) and those with youth that are trying to get there.

There are several teams where you are, and several teams 1 and 2 seasons ahead of where you are. If history is any indicator, this season will be hard for you guys, making the playoffs will be a struggle. Next season, you will may have the opportunity to advance in the playoffs, and 2-4 seasons from now will be your window to win the league. It's just how the league is set up now.

What EFL does point out is to give some measure of build efficiency, not necessarily build effectiveness. 100 and 200 point gaps are just hard to make up. Also in there is lvl 72 equipment, which is very important as well.

Will the Aggies jump into the top 5 with boosts? We shall see.

Blackrock Reapers are looking like sacrificial lambs this season, but at least most of our players get our boosts. This will be a long season, but we're just going to try to make teams plan for us--that's our goal anyway.

If the Hedgehogs are running out of steam and inventiveness, you are always welcome to become part of the Groundhogs.

I have had to recruit on the way as this team was abandoned and gutted by its owner when I took over mid S15. I In my experience, good agents appreciate owners who don't boast in forums, who are honest, who consistently game plan, and who are good guys. I don't think good guys finish last at all. When the time comes, we will be able to reload.
