btw this is actually a personal attack technically. So verbal warning. I have warned people not to flame / attack you, so it's only fair I do the same.

note: this is in no way "official" (as in it's not on your record or anything). It's just a "please don't do this"

thanks

Had this happen before myself. Depending on the issue they may help you. For me it was bought the wrong AEQ, but noticed immediately and PM'd support.

No, I just don't like the idea of enabling stupidity past a point. Where does it freaking end. There is plenty chance to make sure you are doing something you really want to do. Take those opportunities, and quit blaming things that are simply not the problem.

BTW, this is not a customer service issue. Customer service is more about communication, and it is communicated quite clearly what will happen at each point (only exception is training which I might support you on a bit I guess - albeit in the loosest sort of way).

Its not intended to be such, but rather to underline how the point is about offering the clients customer service, the best most friendliest user interface possible. There is zero negative to the idea, so it doesn't make sense to dislike the idea, let alone Flame someone for making the suggestion. Think its a low priority okay thats a possible rational response. But STFU etc is so unrelated to the idea as to suggest some other motivation.

However that said, point taken.

What possible difference does it make to you?

And who was blaming anyone for it?

And WHAT does blaming have to do with it anyway?

Stop being judgmental and start thinking about the game as a product.

Microsoft programmers might think an Undo is only a feature for morons and Redo for the most moronic amongst them, and a huge buffer so you can undo and redo layers upon layers a feature only reserved for those who had help turning on the PC. But they still put the feature in, because those people are still customers.

Its a simple thing to do (or so it would seem) and it would without question be useful to some players. Its a silly thing to hate, and not terribly worth disliking even.

Customer service is about giving the customer what they want, actually.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------♦Suggestions forum rules♦-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: No joke suggestions.
2. No complaint threads. This is a place to suggest ideas that fix a problem with the game, not a place to identify problems.
3: No duplicate suggestions. If you see one that is similar to your idea then just post in that thread.
4: Don't repost locked suggestions. If you feel a thread shouldn't be locked then PM the mod that locked it.
5: No excessive bumping of suggestions. Repeatedly posting in a thread to keep it at the top may result in a suspension for spam.
∟Consecutive bumps, per day, from a user will be considered excessive. If you bump and receive a legitimate response, then you can bump again.

you are blaming the product for your lack of attention to detail. That much is obvious. Your lack of understanding of that concept is incredible. The product gives you plenty of chances to ensure you don't screw up if you don't click through things with no regard to the consequence.

At some point, the product can't do everything the customer wants. Thus the communication. In this case, the product actually offers what you are asking to have. You simply are too distracted to see it.

I am replying to responses, all usually in the same ten minutes or so.

First off I am not BLAMING the product at all, I am making a suggestion for an improvement. Unlike the things about the sim that produce outside of the sims subject results, which is a fault of the sim, this is not a flaw but something that could be better.

Secondly. the product does not offer an undo. PMing support to see if you get lucky is not an undo button.

This IS a big problem. I made one purchase mistake 6 or so seasons ago and was told "tough luck". Then I hear of others in the same position get their gear fixed. That's a bit ridiculous.

Ultimately my mistake cost bort money as instead of maintaining another player I recycled his flex into my other players.

Well thats the thing that makes this more than a minor request. You can totally bork a build with a mistaken placement of points in the various areas. Thats an investment of years of time and depending on how old the build is potentially hundreds of dollars (think its $129 for a glamour gals total cost).

An Undo Safety net could really avoid some unhappy frustrated campers.
