Zeta is not the cake-walk this thread is making it out to be. Kona, for one, is going to be a force and a couple of others look to be solid as well.
Know what I don't see in this thread? People bitching about how many lolgames there will be in the season. People bitching about how boring this season will be because of no competition. There's apparently 2 types of teams in Pro. Those who want to plan and play hard EVERY single game and those who want a free ride to WL just to say they're in WL. Why should we start rearranging leagues so a couple more one-and-done WL failures have a better chance to make it back based strictly on disbursement? It doesn't look like the existing Alpha teams are whining about placement and So Cal is having a great time with this as well. Man up! Indy didn't like the demote and, regardless of where they were put or what the competition was, they made a bee line right back to WL - In a very convincing manner.
Now let's clarify a few things. Your teams are great. The system is broken and it goes deeper than just conference placing upon demotion. It's the overall appearance of this thread that's irking me. Some posts are coming across as whiny and selfish with an attitude as if you are owed something or deserve preferential treatment because you were once a WL team (or once a WL team who should have demoted last season but didn't due to gutting). Just have fun with it, enjoy the friendly rivalries here, and accept that not all of you are making a trip back to WL. If the existing teams here have anything to say about it, none of you are
All that being said, I apologize if I hurt your feelings or come across as an internet meanie. I like most of you guys. You do have excellent teams, fantastic coordinators, and dedicated scouts (or scouting tools). Use them well. Make a statement. Play that hand your were dealt and get back to WL. GL to each and every one of you

BTW, of the demoted teams in Alpha, only Devonport was 1 and done, so you might as well just say Devonport next time. It's less confusing.

One and done still means you did the work to get there. Well done to Devonport, you beat a very good Cypriot team and you played very well in the WL. If we can match your win total or surpass it I will be happy!
