It's all RNG at this point. There is no rhyme or reason for why a build gets a sack right now.

It really has less to do with the OL/DT interaction, and more how the QB moves in the pocket. If QB's moved realistically (i.e. step up in the pocket when pressured from the outside), then DT's would function pretty well. You might not see 20 sacks, but 10 certainly wouldn't be an impossibility.

should just make linemen on both sides free. or maybe you get one free boost for a lineman every time you boost a 300 flex player. that way people dont care as much when bort keeps them marginalized in the replays

i was really hoping 151/84/90/63 str/spd/agi/vis would be a bit more of a difference maker at this point.

well thank god achetypes has speed agility majors like des now.......

and it takes the speed to finish sacks along with nice high tackling......80 speed will get you hurries....110 will get you sacks...

Too bad anything less than the 150 strength 90 agility for a DT and you're useless.

not from a DT as then you would have low agility or srength and never break a block. Or you would be pancaked every damn time.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1604560 - will be 149/84/99/70 with 10 FS and 37% BB next season. It still won't do anything.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2024191 - this one will end up 140/100/100/75 with 36% BB and he won't do anything either.

80 speed doesn't even get you hurries any more.

speed and agility can be major abilites ..add in relentless pursuit and some balance from building equip....and there always a va to have your guy get up faster....

agility based DTs have always worked if done right...

agility based DTs used to work right.

Relentless pursuit is almost worthless on a WL DT. It doesn't kick in until after tick 20 (that's 40 mouse clicks if watching frame by frame). By then WL QBs have already gotten rid of the ball over 95% of the time.

How much speed does a DT have to have in your opinion.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1604560 - I can make him into

139.52 strength
94 speed
99.52 agility
70 vision

36.5% BB
10 FS
7 shed block
7 break through

for pre-season next season

(I'll end up shifting 10 pts back to strength for regular season)

Is that good enough to test your speed theory or does it have to be 100 speed?

Are inside blitzing LB's or DE's with 94 speed sufficient?

I'm doing alot of damage with a level 12 dot, albeit casual, but without a DPC, it may be a more accurate sign of things to come with a strength first, speed 2nd, agility 3rd capping build.....

Dude, this has no bearing on the rest of the sim for multiple reasons. How are you even done strength at level 12?

There are some very effective DEs with less than 94 speed. I know it is just LOL Pro, but I can look at a DE build in EEPL that has 85 speed and has 14 sacks.

I can also see a WL DE with less than 94 speed that has 10 sacks.
