After reading this I couldn't hold back any longer. This has been eating at me for days now and I feel I must come forward...... I am the "Source" Clay is talking about ....... after seeing a mighty 3-2 ragin cajuns team boast about how they are the team to beat and we all better start gamplanning for them. I saw Sunshineks meet with the GM of Portland and pass a steel briefcase labeled "How to beat the Ragin Cajuns - For Dummies". It seemed like too much of a coincidence that following that sight on that night Portland completely destroyed Louisiana 49-0. There is no way ..... NO WAY i tell you, that Louisiana is THAT BAD. I mean to get thrown a beating like that, especially after the confident Clay made such a strong prediction about being the "Team to Beat". I'm sorry Dallas, I am a spy and I should be held accountable for my treasonous actions! Exact on me whatever punishment you desire!

That could likely easily be arranged. Just convince everyone to throw their remaining games against the Cajuns, including playoffs and we'll be out of your hair.

Do I really think the Cajuns are the team to beat? Every owner wants their team to be. These boards are meant to get your team psyched up and keep things interesting. If you guys can't handle some harmless trash talking, I'll simmer down.

I think the trash talkin is cool. You're right about getting things psyched up. It makes things a little more personal than just Wins and Losses. If we meet again I cant wait to see the trash that gets flung back and forth.
The only thing I don't like and would want simmered down is when accusations are made and you name a teammate as someone passing along team info especially without any proof. Trust me after just finding out what sunshineks does for fun I never want to be on his bad side.

I haven't been on for awhile, so I am just catching up on what I have missed...

I do agree with Clay, the trash talking is just fun. It's been I think that my team is better than yours. What's wrong with that? What we can't talk a little harmless smack without being told to shutup by Suncheeks? My other league's forums are the same thing. If we didn't talk about what teams are better, what teams we think suck, who we think we can beat and who beat who this week, what would we talk about? I mean it's obvious that people want to chat because this thread is still going. Just have some fun, it's football!
