Well, that prediction gets the Beermen (my team) into the playoffs, which seems likely. But we'd need an 8-1 run to finish the season 12-6, which may or may not be doable. I think we're more likely to end up 11-7.

Hopefully we're on an upswing after our 30-17 victory over the 5-2 Rush. Our 6-9 loss to Crimson was extremely close and could have gone either way, just like the 6-10 loss to Maine.

So we could easily be 6-1 rather than 4-3.

But the competition is awesome... I wouldn't have it any other way. It's way more interesting than blowing everyone out would be. While it'd be nice to move up, it's cool to be in a competitive league.

There are only 16 games, so it will be pretty tough to finish 12-6 or 11-7.

Your schedule really gets a lot easier coming up. You do have tough games left against New York, New Orleans, and Naperville left. You are favored in 2 of them, and slight dogs in another, so chances are you'll win 2 of them, and only lose 1. That would put you 12-4- good enough for a #5 seed, and possibly a 4. Win all 3 and you could be in great shape.

How does Fresno lose a game yet go from a projected finish of 10-6 to 11-5?

The predictions I had from before that game was to have Fresno at 12-4. They were underdogs to SNK, but won that game. I had 10-6 prediction before the SNK victory.

I don't know, I think St. Louis is in pretty good shape and has solidified themselves in the top 6. Losing 2 at the very most in their remaining schedule.

Won't argue about the Beermen prediction though

I identified the bugs and am trying to correct it now. It gave one team in each conference too many losses.

Just typing the numbers into a spreadsheet that someone else made. You have a real tough schedule, I expect you to win 1 or 2 more than that.

I'm still not liking us missing the playoffs with the team we have. It looks like we will have to cause a few upsets to show the league, and the excel spreadsheet, what we can do.

You still have to play Crimson, Naperville, Columbus, and Maine. The Maine game is listed as a tossup right now.

You'll likely need to win 2 of those to make the playoffs. Your loss to New Orleans really hurts with tiebreakers. The East is brutal this season. Fortunately, someone will leave next year to allow an easier team in from A #8.
