I don't think that they are bad people, rather I think that they are kids that make bad decisions. But you have to look at where most of them came from.
I lost a scholarship at Auburn because I made bad decisions. I was able to make the best of it and get my degree thanks to the US Army, but I had to learn the hard way.

This. Most athletes are 21 and under, and still haven't figured out how to handle themselves, and with success comes more responsibility.

Still, Netwon got kicked out of Florida for cheating a few times, and I believe someone else mentioned he had stolen things.

Sorry that you have been misinformed enasty, but he was not kicked out of Florida for cheating. He left Florida because he saw that he wasn't going to play because of Tebow. The trouble with the stolen laptop may have been a factor also, but the cheating accusations were brought out 2 weeks ago and Florida officials said they were not true.

A university of Florida spokesperson said that they had no knowledge of this ever happening. If it did happen, Florida is in a world of trouble for violating a federal right to privacy law by leaking this out. Notice how Thayer Evans, who wrote this article, shut up about this as soon as he opened his mouth about it. Mainly because Florida officials called him and told him to keep his damn mouth shut before this article got them investigated for breaking federal privacy laws (purely specualtion on my part, but he sure did drop the cheating allegations fast)

Again, no proof. he NEVER was sent in front of the student advisory board ON ANY OCCASION for cheating.

So you just pointed out the very reason WHY Florida would say this didn't happen. Not to mention that their football team could take a hit if it did happen.

I'm not saying that it did or did not happen, but either way Florida would be saying it didn't.

But as far as proof...what do you know about the whole FBI gambling sweep with Milton McGregor? I've heard that when they were investigating him, they caught with their wire taps some Auburn boosters discussing paying Newton (and other players) and basically explained how it was done. But the FBI isn't releasing that information yet b/c they don't want to affect their case (because they weren't investigating paying players). I'm not really in the loop about this, how credible is it?

This is exactly what i was going to say. Why would they admit to it if it'd hurt them legally and again, just add another hit to the football team that is already criticized for their off the field antics.

According to Paul Finebaum this occurrence with Milton McGregor got thrown out. Turned out to be bologna. How I know? A shit load of peeps at work listen to this man EVERY DAY. Auburn, Bama, Gator, and MSU fans all in the office. I bet I could count 15 ppl on my fingers right now that listen to this guy.

However, how much we can take in from any media bullshit, I dunno. I start to notice that the more ppl believe in media bullshit the more gullible and naive they are or will become.

Once again elbows and assholes, and my chance of caring of what is being said with what some would call "reporting" really efffing low

***Just b/c there are 2 sides of 1 story doesnt mean you have to choose one***

And trust me Paul Finebaum is no Auburn fan! But he has defended Auburn and Cam Newton through this whole ordeal for some reason. Usually he would have jumped on it and ran them into the ground.

It will all come out in the wash. The only thing that I am saying is let's not rush to judgement before we know the facts. When and if the facts come out in this, if Cam and family are guilty, I will be the first to say f'em. Until then, go win us a championship!!!

I think the championship will be good, although, no offense I hope Auburn loses to the Gamecocks and Wisconsin sneaks in. Unlikely though. I think Wisc is the best team in the country right now.

But here's what I think for realistically, Oregon has a slightly better offense, and Auburn has a bigger advantage on defense. Should be a good game.

Oregon - Auburn will be one heck of a game.

Oregon gets better on offense in the 2nd half and Auburn plays better defense in the 2nd half. Should be interesting
