The bottom line is Bort's bottom line and nothing that takes away from that will ever fly. Like all capitalists, you have to show there is a new market to profit from.

If it was a goer, then it would encourage me to spend more each season, coz I have a team of players that I dream about being able to afford to buy these things for, but coz I can't buy all players CEQ then I only buy a couple each season

Great idea. People have been arguing CE for awhile now for peewee leagues.
This is a great solution for the peewee community and for people who only like a player for a season or two.

I think this would be a win-win situation for both Bort and his customers. There are a lot of agents in the PW community that are holding on to their flex points because of the high cost. This would definitely bring all those agents back and attract newer agents.

But you also look at it from another side, what if all the guys paying for custom EQ suddenly stop because they are just fed up with paying too much? I think even if it doesn't bring in a ton of new custom EQ users it will keep the ones who already do spend each season. I support this game each season by donating anywhere from 50-150 dollars. This is put up or shut up for me. If this last ditch attempt fails to lower the cost, I am done donating funds. I can spend that somewhere else.

I would think many silver teams would become CEQ required if it were 100 flex a year.
Every team I have built for in Silver are boost and CEQ optional....... it really just opens Bort up to 100 free flex from a bunch of agents.
Everybody is willing to build a 100 flex lineman for a team, so 100 flex CEQ would be the same IMO.
