How did this guy "skirt" the rules? This would imply that he somehow cheated. His entrance into Gold was by invitation, as proclaimed by Perma. That being said, where is the impropriety on his part? When Admins from the game send you a PM asking if you want to be in Gold, saying "yes" does not make you a cheater. It makes you an opportunist. For Perma to change his signature to that is pretty tacky.

My point in all of this is really just that ripping this owner is wrong. He didn't do anything wrong. GLB sent the offer and any and all "blame" should be put squarely on them.

I really don't want to draw this out any further.

A: I believe in PowersConnection's positive intentions.
B: They ran the promo script, apparently didn't have enough teams and started sending PMs to copper (wtf?) teams
C: Teams more deserving per the promotion rules were then left to wonder why
D: Permastoneds own team was promoted properly but he declined and merged with Bleeds and has nothing more to gain here.
E: My own team, Lunch Box, will gladly and shamelessly take the place of a team in this situation.

You aren't bashing it, but look at Perma. Just his signature tells it all. He has no respect for a team that has done nothing but accept an invite from GLB. As for the Copper thing, sure it isn't an excuse, but he does have experience and if they're was a copper team to be promoted, I would pick his over most (Not saying there aren't more qualified). His 2nd round exit was due to the fact that we really didn't care, and I'm pretty sure he didn't plan on going straight to Gold.

Permastoned is a big boy. I've seen sillier things in signatures. Your own pretty much sums up this debate.

I'm not even in PeeWee, but this guy sent me a PM about something I said earlier and than when I replied blocked me. Grow up, tough guy. Don't try and be an INTERNET badass and than when anyone says anything to you, go runaway and cry. I've played PC before and he is a quality owner, probably a lot better than your pathetic self. Keep doing what your doing, noone likes you and it isn't getting you anywhere. When PC's team beats whatever Gold team you GM on, i'll be the first to rub it in.

That has no relevance to the argument. You've come to Perma's help, when he's just making an ass out of himself. I don't mind if he speaks his opinion, but all he's doing is saying how awful the team is and how he's such a saint for passing up an offer to go here because he found an easier way in. If he was on his own, he wouldn't win a game. But he took the easy way out and joined forces.


Perma would make LeBron proud, he's made a spectacle out of something little and then used an excuse in the form of his passing up going to Gold to chew out PC.

This thread by no means was created to down the team I was just putting it out there that gold looks aweful this season and is going to keep getting worse. I mean Bort and Co just promoted a copper team from copper to gold from what I understand and it never should have happend. If I would have known they were going to do something like this I would have accepted my invite that I got to be in gold... I declined because I was going by the gold rule "The best play the best game in and game out" my team is non boost/non custom so I didn't think we could live up to those standards. No offence at all to the owners of the team I mentiond, but there are definatly a lot more top silver teams that deserved this spot over them.

Now back on topic needs moar jokes!

I can settle this I am certain. How about Wam come back to Gold and sit with a team full of CPU's?
That would be fair and my own prerogative I suppose.

This should be left up to the Owners of PeeWee Gold, not to some lolgm or coordinator.

We asked for demotion in the best interest of Gold so teams would not have a freebie. Whats a man to do? After 7 seasons we were not knocked out, so it is what it is. Support does say after promo's are done, that a team asking for a demotion to pick a team. (Or just sit and rot) I didn't pick that team Vatican in all honesty, but someone must have. It is better than any inactive team sitting idle though.

Plus SOS damn sure doesn't work for every league and vice versa. This Copper Team would of gotten the nod if I was to pick a Copper Team. http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=7584 So saying Copper Teams suck imo is an epic fail!

Surprisingly both of our teams made Gold, seemed silly for us to use 2 teams to make the same effort so why not just combine to one, no reason to pull a mculloms and have 10 teams in gold, I feel like one is enough.

I wish that you would bring your OC skills to some team that has to face my defense this season, I don't think I'll even have to tag if your OAI looks anything like that helpless crap you loaded onto the Mudkips for 5 games last season before Snipe called me in to save things.

One, that OAI was never finished, and two, if I remember correctly, the OAI got us to 4-1 in those 5 games, with your "elite defense" giving up 30+ the first game to lose. Not to mention that my FS and SS led the defense and league in fact, which saved your ass.

But go ahead and soak up that sun EDB/LeBron/Perma, and keep calling out mccollums, who i'm pretty sure had more trophies in season than you'll ever see in your life.

Yes, your third string SS/FS saved the team... lol, my "elite defense"?!? I wasn't even coordinating for the team until late in the season, if you do recall?
