Ehh. From what I hear Nif isn't investing too much in it, I made defensive adjustments but can't really say that any of them had anything to do with STD other than I knew any exposures would likely be re-exposed so I needed to fix them.

C'mon Coach Kaerey... You're acting like we didnt have eight 4th down conversion attempts and another half a dozen punts. My pass attack is lame-o and that was pretty evident from the 18 attempts we did try. It may come together later in the season. The only game plan vs. STD was ball control. We got a lucky OT special teams play and if I recall its the same way you won our previous meeting. This W is all on EDB for holding you off long enough to catch a break. Its a long ways to the playoffs and I don't know if any team will finish well w/out a lot of grind it out type wins.

I Vow that I have never and never will intentionally win a game by grinding out the middle. It's stupid and in my opinion exploits the primary flaw in pee wee which is the inside slam/dive/blast. And I think I've done pretty good with my team's success.
It wasn't even your run game that put the points on the board for you in this game, it was the great pass to the TE early, Great Field Position on the second one and ST Play. It's just shit you think you need to result to that type of offense to get a W in the second week. This game sucks when that's all that goes down.
And I Won't be upset at all when I finally do get to Gold and drop out the very next season because I lose to the 80% of gold teams that do this exact same thing.
I don't when I play teams that go 80/20 on the rushing as long as the rushing is balanced, but yours wasn't you put 40/50 right up the middle. How is that fun? In the end there was only a 20-40 yard difference in our total yards. If I can do it, so can everyone else.

Well even though we lost I liek what I saw out of my team..things are coming together and like someone hear already said..it's a long season and we've still got alot of games to play....good luck to everyone guys...

Like I said... we caught a break in OT and prolly a couple in the first half. I commend the way you find balance every season and don't look forward to playing your team anymore than I have to.
fwiw... you didn't have a single run outside either and 2/3 of your own rushes went straight up the middle with a few off tackles sprinkled in. Not so sure if your upset because our power (if you can call my backs that) rushing was better than yours today or because it was EDB that stopped you.
You certainly won't be pleased when I invest in surge. I rolled 6 backs with nothing else in mind but we decided to add to the secondary instead to counter all the Short Bus pole-jockers out there.
