And I support your choice of DIRTY INC. They have a great track record and will do well.

Yes, throw the rules out the window and let them just CHOOSE who they want to join the, meant to be, earn your way in league.....

I wonder how this would go in the world league, probably wouldn't be quite the same...

If this game is going to just mutilate the league structure and make it where half of every silver league is a copper league, then they are going to start throwing their promotion rules out the window....

just in time for coaches and salary caps... think it might be time for me to make my exit....

and for those of you who would care to reply

"who cares, just quit already, wont be sad to see you go"

What I have to say is, clearly I wasn't talking to you then was I....

In season 14, when I decided to let the Tennessee Crabs go non-competitive .. they gave me the same option. I believe the support person said something like, just find another Silver team to swap with but make sure they were one of the better teams..

So.. this isn't new and guess what.. Support and the GLB staff does not take Pee Wee or Pee Wee Gold promotion as seriously as we do..

I didn't do it because I couldn't decide who actually deserved it more.. Who Touched my Pee Wee, Final Thought, or Maine.. and because I joined Tombstone and didn't want any of the teams listed in the western conference.. lol

I think you're talking to me, right? So yes, I say, "bye bye".

Sorry about this Mike your team in my opinion is the #1 to move to gold, but I had to make a post about this in Catch's PF in which he will have to come up with a response. I just don't agree with GLB just dismissing Pee Wee like they just did in this instance. Throwing all rules of promotion out the window is very unprofessional, teams pay to play just the same as other teams do.

That is just pretty sad... teams pay to play just the same as other teams, with GLB admins just dismissing their own rules is very unprofessional and not deserving of my money.

Hey, I see both sides of this debate. All the more reason Pee Wee should be ran in a Ranking Ladder. The hell with Gold/Silver, throw all the Pee Wee teams in 1 Ladder and the best teams will rise to the top of the pile. CPU teams would then be irrelevant

We don't just pay - we pay a premium.. lol

Well, S17 - Pee Wee Gold has a good chance of going NO CUSTOM EQ and hopefully some Silver leagues will follow suit.

I'm not against Custom in Pee Wee. just against paying full price every season for it.

I completely understand why you guys are so upset by this. But I'm yet to hear one team that may have been eligible for the promotion bitch about it. We in this Gold community want the very best and competitive teams possible. I believe that is what I have done here, I have made it possible for an excellent team to give every other team a real game. Not import some team that is gonna go 0-16 and make it to where everyone they play takes two days off because they know the AI they have in place will roll that squad. This keeps it pure, the rules do not necessarily do that.

I completely agree, but I don't agree with Admins dismissing their own rules in more than one instance. I just called Catch out on the subject and hopefully he will start to take Pee Wee a little more seriously from now on or else he will be losing my business and I'm sure many others.

Exactly, the point is we are being disregarded here... the destruction of the silver leagues has got me on edge... I apologize if I overreacted, as my own opinion is that Dirty is a great silver team, and although they may not deserve it the most, the don't deserve it the least amongst the teams that did make it, so I suppose I can just accept it as is...

I have to agree that allowing teams to bypass promotion rules is a bad idea. I have been with the Crib Midgets since the start and we have been a consistently solid team year in and year out. We landed in a brutal Silver league and have been trying our best to get to Gold; I'm not going to bitch about the SIM as it is what it is. We finished 16-0 this season and lost to FT in the second round so we had our chance to get to Gold through the 100% guaranteed method of winning your league.

However, to not allow us a fair shake at getting the extra spots makes a mockery of the sytem itself. Letting an individual decide (even the greatest, unbiased owner out there) can never be fair because it will never be objective; teams that the individual are unfamilar with or that don't play in tournaments will never have a shot. And considering that we are trying to get into Gold -- which means we pay a premium in boosting/CE each season -- I would think that we have paid for the right for rules to be enforced.

If this was freeware or something I can see being a bit more lax (although I still wouldn't necessarily agree with it) but we are paying for a service and there is a set number of rules to handle these situations so why not use them?

Just to be clear -- Vrecksler isn't saying Crib should replace Dirty -- he's saying that teams getting promoted should have to go through the process and he's using Crib as an example of a team that is just as worthy as Dirty if not moreso.

My point exactly, here is the post I made to catch

What is the process in which a team gets promoted if they don't win the league championship? I didn't know a gold team could request a team to take their place in gold, I was under the impression it had to go through a process for example 16-0 in regular season then tiebreaker is PF and PA. The team that was promoted, DIRTY INC., http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6864 was not first in line to move to gold no matter what process you use to promote teams in Pee Wee... If you use the regualar season record and PF/PA for the tiebreaker then this team beats them out http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6813. DIRTY INC. had 1314 PF and 82 PA, then SAS (Other team) had 1332 PF and 82 PA. In this tiebreaker SAS would move on to gold, which didn't happen.

Then I guess the other promotion would be advancement in the playoffs in which there were 21 teams that went further than DIRTY and were not promoted to gold. I am just wondering as to how they could be promoted without the admin who promoted them even looking into the subject.

Here is what the agent said who got to chose the team that moved in...

Are you kidding me Catch, is this how you feel about Pee Wee's? 0 cares? You throw out your own promotion rules and just let agents decide on their own... We all pay to play the game, not pay to see other teams unrightfully chosen to play above us in the highest league for Pee Wee, we take promotion seriously and I think you should too or else you will not be seeing another dime from me. That is just very unprofessional in my opinion.

How can GLB admins just let another agent decide who gets to move on to the top league? Would this ever happen in the World League? No
