Dude, seriously, lighten up. It's DOT ball. You didn't work your ass off on anything. You clicked a mouse button a few times a day. SSB players clicked a mouse button a few times a day for a while longer. In the 2+ years I've been playing this game, I cannot recall one time in which I broke a sweat building a player, and I have built some pretty good ones, both the regular way and the slow way.
There were no rules prohibiting SSB teams in the tourney, just like there are no rules prohibiting teams with CE. What if it gets down to a few teams, one team with CE and the rest without CE and there is an outcry against CE? "We paid for our players and built them to be good without CE. Your team should be on an even playing field and have to play without."
Not your fault the other teams didn't take advantage of this build opportunity within the game structure, so why should you be punished?
Anyway,I see it from both sides, as I have players on teams in leagues with SB teams, and I have players on SSB. My point is, if you don't want to have SSB players in the tourney say so beforehand. If you don't want to play against them in a tourney, pay attention to the lineup of teams.
I even GM another team (and have players on it) in this tourney, who could very well end up playing SSB.

I understand your frustration as well as others, that is why I am not just kicking you out, but taking a vote. I noticed the other tournament you were in did not specify that in their rules either, but they DQ'd you as well. We will see how the vote turns out.

Well put. I voted "boot them out" but after reading and thinking about it, they did nothing wrong and it was not stated in rules. Not sure it is 'FAIR" to just boot them out tho. They have also spent flex for your tourney also. Shit my team lost to a team that was 80 days old. Let the games continue.

are you talking about GLBTEAMS.NET. We aren't DQ'd there and still in the bracket. Tournament of the Coalitions, yes, that specifically states no SSB, so there is no argument with that.

This team is playing a bunch of "Cap 18" tournaments and I got screwed having to face them in another event.

They have no business being in a Cap 18 and I say the real people to blame with this are the people running these events who do not put in the time to check the teams. It wouldn't have taken much effort to realize this team did not belong and would ruin the competitive balance of an event.

I will give howells24 credit for at least addressing the issue now, the guy running the other event the Boom are in just ignored the whole thing and acted like it was no big deal. That is probably why howells24 will have more successful events in the future and the other guy's event will die away.

Owners will NOT participate in events that are unbalanced.

Well said by someone not representing S.S.B. The thing that sticks out for me is "they did nothing wrong and it was not stated in rules".
