Someones all worked up about a friendly scrimmage... :shakes: I obviously don't fear losing to you in a game that doesn't even impact me in the slightest bit (as if dotballcould)..
I am reporting this as a personal attack, because thats is what it is... I am not an idiot... and there is simple math and statistics which I have offered you the source of that support my claim that clearly the problem lies in the number of punts and kickoffs not in the actual design of it... and I've more than agreed that the recent changes have had an adverse effect on the sim as far as pee-wee is concerned, in that it generates an oddly high average starting position after kickoffs...
So... I end my attempt at having a conversation with you, because clearly someone has to know "everything" to even talk to you...

We punted 6 times, and they ran one back. They punted 12 times, and we ran 2 back -- their first 2 punts. How does that even seem realistic at all. The SIM is flawed for ST, and it's getting worse.

Here is a tale of two games from my teams today.
Game one neither team punted at all. It was a great game.

Now here was my level 14 game. STs were just stupid. We had 29 returns for 24 TDs. My offense only got 16 plays total. I know it was a bad team but come on. Thinking about having a pocket passer return kicks next time in that situation.

Actually if we win it wont be by much. We'll have a very vanilla gameplan put together. We have a meeting with another undefeated team the same day so can't tip the hand to what we'll run. Bad scheduling again on my part

Seriously. I even benefit from it from time to time but no way in hell should games be decided by special teams. A team is very lucky if they get a nice 40 yard scamper on a return in one game in any football fashion but to see game after game where a special teams have scored is just ridiculous, What are yalls thought on the matter? It seems most teams now start at the 50 yard line rather than the 20 or their own 35. I consider starting at your own 35 good special teams play but lately it's just insane!
