Hmm, so we didn't get nods because of a cupcake game... but the Express do? I think we've just shown the 'official players of the week' to be complete BS.

Guys Don't let this crap get to you. I say just stop checking this thread

Weren't you the one who said that you wanted the player with the best stats? Make up your mind.

Actually, I think he was arguing the opposite for MVP and got shit for not wanting it to be just based on padded stats. So, when one of our guys with a stat game last week got looked over for POTW, he was pointing out the irony of the award not going to the guy with the best stat game. Now, this game it goes that way. He's just taking the piss.

And CO, the guy he's talking about may not have gotten 6 TDs against our cupcake, but he did have 4, with 3 of them being punt returns. Almost had a 4th return for a TD but the punter got him, haha.

I think 6 TDs against a cupcake is decent enough to warrant a player of the week award but I question that owner or GMs philosophy of subbing because I have mine set to get my back ups in if we are up in the score handely. That kind of performance by a position player that isnt a return man just wreaks of someone trying to pad their stats. This probably isnt the case persay because the RB only averaged 3.7 yards a carry but the back up only got like 8 carries. Playing your starters mostly against a team that is even or tough is understandable but I try and set my settings against cupcakes to get the back ups a bunch of snaps.

I am just glad I don't have a back up player on that team but then again its a tricky thing to get the energy settings just right so i try and use the force back ups if up by X score.

Look to week 2, Awesome Lee. I found only one other player that could have taken the OPoW this week. Last week there was a fairly good candidate in a heated game... Once you guys play the Thunder one of your guys will probably be in it.

Just wanted to throw out some stats of one of our defenders this game. This was against a previous undefeated Taco Bell team (I think Jad picked a good name for them).
Jo Green, 12 tackles, 1 sack, 2 hurries, 2 tackles for loss, 1 pass deflection

I know. what happens to be so funny? because I was really backing up the fact that your starter was player of the week.
