Great Game SNK. The Nighthawks made alot of mistakes, the game could have, should have been alot different. But never the less, great game. Don't think the Nighthawks aren't for real though, this was possibly the best matchup of the season. We're not planning on going away.

Good game Neanderthals.. Much better (in our eyes) than the beatdown you guys handed us last season. Just glad we could cover the spread (22 points? man.. no respect) and reward Tom for his pick!
Good luck the rest of the way.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Great game for the Beermen today- what a defense with 7 forced turnovers. Somehow we were able to shut them down, including 5 plays inside the 2 yard line, with no TDs allowed. The schedule doesn't get any easier for us, as we play the New York Launch next week.

Its probably true... although I think they might be throwing away from me towards him because I catch anything thrown my way!

Goog game by Lauderdale today...we forced a couple turnovers but could not put any points on the board aside from field goals...also good job on the kickoff return for a touchdown...kudos to TC for being close on the prediction...the Laurier Golden Hawks will be ready for Las Vegas next game... p.s. who thought Las Vegas would go 4-0 to start off the season?...not this guy lol

Your D played better, shutting down our O inside the red zone like that is epic. Not to mention the interception inside the 20 yard line http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=6752303. That sealed the deal, good game Woody's. You've improved a lot over the season and wish you the best the rest of the way. This is shaping up to be a fun year. That's already our 2nd OT of the season.

Defense big again as New York prevails
Expanded Boxscore: http://trendon.org/launch/games/3-4sin.htm
SIN CITY (GLP) -- The quarterbacks are still getting intense on-the-job-training, and the offensive line still hasn't found a combination that works well.
Good thing for New York it can always count on its defense.
Brick Schmithouse picked off the two passes and stopped the Sublime's final drive by dragging down WR Lerin Turberville at the New York four on fourth down as the 3-1 Launch won their second straight, 19-13, against Sin City on Thursday.
"It was closer than we would have liked it to have been, but you have to just go with it," said linebacker Nick Barnett, who helped snuff out the Sublime's last chance with a big tackle for loss. "We came out with a win, and that's all that matters."
All together, the Launch picked off four passes and batted down five others.
"I've been here since day one, seeing those big plays," Barnett said. "Just being able to come up with one like that, it's amazing."
The offense, meanwhile, still hasn't found the form that produced 382 points last season. The Launch finished with just 271 yards. Sin City had 315 yards, but turned the ball over three times in the first half.
"They bring the blitzes, they rotate those defensive backs out so they're always fresh," quarterback The Arm said. They did a good job of staying with us."
Arm was 24-for-34 for 176 yards and three interceptions. Nearly half of his completions went to James Hardyy, who was held to one catch for seven yards in last year's game.
Despite the offense's struggles, the Launch were still able to go into the half up 16-3. Blaine Fair scored from two yards out with 8:41 left in the second quarter to give the Launch a 13-0 lead. It was set up by Nitro Jenkins' first interception of the season, leaving New York with the ball in Sin City territory.
"When they absolutely had to, our defense stepped up," Head Coach Trendon Lynch said.
Sin City (1-3) closed to within a score on U.R. Pikinupurjock's 2-yard TD run halfway into the third quarter. The Sublime would only see the ball four more times in the game, getting only a field goal towards the end of the third.
It was almost enough, though.
Starting at their 38 with just over six minutes left, the Sublime moved steadily into Launch territory with help from running back Anthony Noel and wideout James LazyEye. Later in the drive, Lazy Eye and James Hardyy would catch successive passes to get Sin City down to the New York 16 atthe two-minute warning. Then, the New York defense tightened up.
On third-and-9 from the Launch's 10, LazyEye dropped a pass after curling underneath Schmithouse. The ensuing fourth-down pass was reeled in by Tuberville, but Schmithouse was able to immediately drag down the 6'3 receiver at the three, ending the drive and the game.
The Launch got several fantastic kick returns from Tank Xerion and Fontaine Bojangles, alotting them fantastic field position. Their inability to cash in on that good position was troubling, especially now that they are about to face an upstart Columbus Woodys team that has redefined stingy, allowing only 34 points through their first four games.
The Launch ended the first quarter with consecutive 13-play drives, but mounted only one other drive longer than six plays for the duration of the game. Luckily, it came at the most opprtune time as Sin City had cut the lead to three on the previous possession.

Ya good game. That was crazy. It was one of those games that real football fans love. A defensive battle.

Great read. That game was very close with the New York Launch, much closer than when you guys just crushed us last year.
