  I think Silver 7 west is a little overrated, other than Final Thought, no one else really impresses me.

well yeah I'm not that great, I don't have much experience and practice, and i have been shut out 4 of 5 games by some great teams. Not trying to sound like a prick but I would consider myself in the top half of silver. I have scored 41 and beat the 6th would have been 5th if they didn't throw a game

Sitting here talking about this 8th seed thing is getting you nowhere, you got knocked out, now would be a good time to make sure you got your agents set and no one is going to bail, and if they do, make sure you have back-ups.

Montpellier's pretty solid too. But you know that, the Mobsters played them twice this season.

I've never really had reason to take notice of the Crib Midgets or the Clippers, but looking at their scrims against teams that I do know, they're both pretty good teams. I wouldn't consider them elite. No offense. They're both probably somewhere around as good as the STARS, who ended up (deservedly) as #4 in Silver 5 West.

If I had to rate the top 4 of each Silver 5 west and Silver 7 west, I'd probably go with:
1) Final Thought
2) SAS
3) The Ninja Squirrels
4) All American Wolverines
5) STARS, Crib Midgets, Clippers, and Montpellier

Personally, I think SAS would probably have the gameplanning advantage over FT, but FT would have the build advantage. Of course we'll never know for sure. The Clippers played WTMP twice and split. Final Thought played WTMP and lost a close one. The STARS had the most convincing victory over WTMP with a 21-0 shutout, but I'm guessing that if we'd played them again it would have been far closer or would have gone the other way.

Drop out CEP. Lost to 5th seed Gridiron Glory. THE U! and ChiT advance to CC.

This whole "best" silver conference is horse S@#$%. Please end it.

A few things. First, we do know for sure between FT & SAS: http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1082821 . FT didn't boost until the end of the season, so that was on a level playing field.

Second, WTMP isn't the greatest comparison b/c they boosted early after they lost to the Clippers & STARS on consecutive days. When they played FT, they had a 3 levels on us & the lv8 equipment advantage and still barely beat us. Both of their games against the Clippers were before they boosted. And after they played us, they went on to beat up 3 unboosted gold teams in a row by decent margins, including two that won playoff games.

But the morale of the story is both conferences are good. Those are 8 very good PW teams you named above.

Of course it is...but it's fun to talk about. All the teams mentioned could just go and get beat up in gold and find out. But the pissing match amongst silver teams is pretty fun
