I wanted to see if it works, and I guess the sims take into account shit talk via forums. I'll double down on my crow until the playoffs.

And I am glad that a little shit talk reversal and some Vagasil cured you under 6 weeks, would have been a boring 6 weeks.

LOL..did you really want another AxlRose episode?

Suffice it to say, the entire team is in morning...no one has even responded to my post regarding the loss.

Good evening everyone. This is SportsCenter

There were quite a few surprises here in week 2 and it just goes to show that anything can happen in 3 Benign. Lets start with the western conference.

The Elite Sea Team def Houston Panthers 29-17

Houston put up a good show in the Atlantis Seadome (how do you play football in a Seadome anyhow?) as they took an early lead in the first quarter of the game. But lack of depth really hurt them as the Sea Team rallied back with a strong showing in the final half of the game. If Houston can get some human backups, they’ll be quite the contenders in the west. As for the Sea Team, their dline played an impressive game, allowing only 1.1 yards per carry. However, their offense, which is the strongest part of that team, needs to avoid being shut down early.

Houston Outlaws def Riverside Renegades 22-10

The Renegades did very well to keep up with the Outlaws in the first half. But Houston struck back with 10 unanswered points in the second half to seal the Renegades’ fate. The Renegades’ run defense put up a good fight, allowing only 2.4 yards per carry, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Outlaws. Riverside is licking their wounds after starting out 0-2. But they have a few easy weeks ahead that should boost morale.

South Texas Thunder def Hollywood Stars 13-10

Hollywood’s defense simply did not hold up against the Thunder, and a strong South Texas showing shut down the Stars’ running game. This spells trouble for the Stars who were defeated in the first round of the playoffs after a strong regular season run last year. They get their rematch against the Wiz next week. Hopefully they’re more prepared than they were against the Thunder.

Kansas City Wiz def BC Lions 17-3

There may be hope for the Lions as they came to Kansas City and played well against the Wiz. 222 yards of offense is nothing to be ashamed of against the Wiz’s defense. Kansas City played a solid game, but they’re going to need more than just that to beat the Stars next week.

El Paso Bandits def TEAM Chuck Norris 20-0

After a scare against the Terror, the Bandits rolled over Chuck Norris by a healthy margin. But that Bandit secondary will need a bit of practice. They allowed over 200 yards of offense on their home field. With so many strong passing offenses in the west a weak secondary will quickly become a heavy liability.

Cary Carpetbaggers def Los Angeles Sweetness 49-0
A strong showing by Cary, and who would have thought they would be leading the pack here in the western conference? Of course it’s still early and the real competition is still waiting for them. Most impressive was the showing by the Carpetbagger defense, which held the Sweetness to –4.5 yards rushing, picked up 4 sacks and a +3 turnover margin. Los Angeles needs to get back to the drawing board and fast. There’s no relegation here in 3 Benign and a lack of morale will make it impossible to pick a team off its feet.

Omaha Shockers def Honolulu Warriors 10-3

What happened in Omaha? The Warriors got a real shock (haha) from that spectacular Shockers defense. This is going to be a major reality check for the Warriors, who no doubt expected their strong team to easily get through the competition in the west. Honolulu’s offense couldn’t capitalize on a +3 turnover differential and their strong depth was shut down in a second half filled to the brim with three and outs. The next two weeks wont be easy for the Warriors, but they’ll probably relish the opportunity to redeem this loss. As for the Shockers, they got just enough help from their offense to get the job done. However, I suspect most of their wins against the top tier teams in the west this season will come off of the back of that titan of a defense.

Scranton Tunas def Oakland Terror 20-0

After a disappointing shutout at the hands of the Outlaws, the Tunas come back to hand out a disappointing shutout of their own. The Terror offense was absolutely decimated and you have to be concerned when your quarterback only completes 30% of this passes. 7 interceptions is a statistical nightmare. Oakland will need to get back to basics and start working on that running game and give a little support to that overworked QB. As for the Tunas, they no doubt have their sights on the playoffs, and this is only a minor victory. There’s a long road ahead.

Well played, Lions!

While I may not like it, Sports Center, I gotta' admit you're right. We're gonna' have to pick up the pace going forward, and next game in particular.

Here in week 2 we can get a better picture of how the eastern conference looks. Exciting games and flashes of brilliance appeared in the east this week. Lets take a look.

Miami Sharks def Nashville Dores 42-13

Early scores from the Nashville and 306 yards of offense show that the Dores have a spark of life. Like the Panthers, they could be a pretty good team if they picked up some talent here in the regular season. Miami’s rushing attack absolutely steamrolled Nashville’s CPU backups. But take a look at the first half and you’ll see a different picture that should give the Sharks some pause.

Albany Mammoths def Tampa Elite 30-17

Albany has shown in two consecutive weeks that they do know what to do with their players. If they keep this up they will be a strong contender in the second half of the season. Over 400 yards of offense is a great sign for the Mammoths. Tampa’s abysmal chemistry hurts them week after week. They’re going to need to do something fast or the season will slip away from them.

St. Louis Beer Barons def Montpelier Morticians 26-3

The Beer Baron offense was the story of the night, with nearly 400 yards of offense. This flash shows that they might have what it takes to contend or even defeat the top teams of the east. The Morticians really need to fix their problems on offense and defense with some serious recruiting in the next few days.

Cleveland Steamer def Palmyra Cougars 13-3

After only putting up 3 points in 2 games, the Cougars have good reason to be concerned. They only saw the red zone two times tonight against Cleveland. Hopefully they can find a way to get things together, but their next few games are going to be really tough. As for the Steamer, they played a good game and have gotten a win, but they may not see one for the next few weeks unless they do something spectacular.

Ho Playbook def Radio City Irrelevants 26-3

That Radio City offense may be in more trouble than I initially thought as they’re in the same situation as the Cougars. Of course, they did open the season against some of the best teams in the east. I’m not sure that I’ve underestimated the Playbook, I think it’s more that I overestimated the Irrelevants. Their high-leveled team makes them look much stronger than they’ve shown themselves to be. The Playbook will get their chance to prove themselves in 3 weeks, but they’re certainly playing well.

New York Doom def Chicago Dire Wolves 36-7

An early touchdown was the only time the Wolves ever saw the red zone. The Doom played better and better as the game went on. The question will be, can they outlast the top teams in the east in the same way they’ve outlasted the Wolves? The Wolves will be able to shake off their 2 early losses as they play some easier teams in the next few weeks.

Miami Carniceros def Pittsburgh Irons 54-7

200 yards of offense and a late touchdown were the only sparks from Pittsburgh tonight. It was all Miami as the Carniceros crushed the Irons with over 500 yards of offense. More impressively, they only punted two times the whole game.

Indianapolis Gangsters def Charlotte Clamjousters 19-13

Indianapolis came out with an early lead and was able to hold off the Jousters for the narrow victory. Charlotte showed that it has what it takes to take on the best of the east with a few very impressive drives against a tough Indy defense. A costly interception in the redzone may have very well cost the Jousters the game. Indy showed that they could move the ball as well with a solid drive to start the second half and an amazing touchdown pass to a HB masquerading as a WR. Really, who woulda seen that coming? An exciting game that shows the playing field has definitely evened up since the Tide and the Gangsters ruled the east.
