To the OP, though it was posted forever ago, I feel your pain, my brother. We've been able to do well for the Shockers getting a full slate of WRs next ssn, but OMG, I'm dying trying to fill my APL team. I mean shit, we're 13-1, have one hell of a team lined up for next ssn (actually 20-30 points a game better than our current team) and I can't fill my 2 last WR slots to save my @!#$%ing soul! It's killing me, man. I'll do it eventually, but it REALLY shouldn't be soooooooooooooooo much work trying to find WRs that don't suck.

i joined the team that was best for my wr going forward. a team that would use my dot as a top threat rather than just another option. we're talking about a team that threw the ball 700+ times in season 12. now just because the passing game messed up some notable passing teams in season 12 and caused them to shift gears for a season and run the ball more than they were ever designed to do (and some struggled because of it) doesn't mean wr's should avoid them like the plague. with the passing game getting a buff this season teams like the nighthawks will start airing it out again, and that makes them a good option for wr's like mine.

in other words, they are the perfect situation. they were #2 on my short list and your team was #4 (behind Marblehead). wiz'll see you this season.

Flames's success killed this game for WRs. 95% of all WR builds over the past 14 seasons have been OMG!!!! Ineeds speed so high, who carez about confidence, strength, stamina, carrying, and catching?!!! If I have 140 speed and 15 FS no one will touch me and I wont need anythin else!!!!

I feel dirty typing like that.

Shit, I'd kill for a 140 speed and 15 FS wr with bad confidence, strength, stamina, carrying, and catching. At least they bring something to the table that I can work with, and having 1 WRs like that on a team is actually really nice....Instead, all I'm finding are 105 speed, 70 agility WRs with bad confidence, strength, stamina, carrying, and catching. The kinds that you look at and ask WTF do you do with your points???? Where did they go??? for being a lvl 69, I can't see how it's possible not to have 1 skill look good, at least.

As I said, I scored 2 nice builds and seen some damn good will be day 480+ builds to start next ssn, along with dots too young that have a ton of potential, but where the hell are all the good day 380-440s? I may have to start dusting off one of my 534 day old WRs. At least I like their builds


PS..I do agree with what you're saying, though. 1 140 speed WR is really nice, IMO, but I only am building 1 burner with all my youngesters, and even he is more balanced and will have lower speed than a true burner

Yeah. I've just never been a fan of speedsters and, as a CB guy, they've always been the easiest to build against. I'm loving possession and power WRs with the new archetypes though. It's going to be tough to figure out how to stop 150 speed WRs, 100 strength/10 Power Through WRs, and 100 Catching/10SH/Mr. Reliable/Possession Receiver WRs all at the same time.

You guys had several amazing WR's, but River Rivers was hands-down the best.

The ridiculous thing was until we promoted to USAPL, if the RRY lost it meant Rivers had a great game for sure. If we won he probably did but it wasn't a guarantee.
