This is a game and is supposed to be fun. There's already too much bad blood brewing in this thread to keep this a fun league if ALB stays the season. Things will only get worse.

Right now I'd say its in everybody's best interest for them to try to trade places with a struggling team in a higher league.

If ALB can't (or won't) find somebody to trade places with, the next best thing will be to gut ALB. Cut everybody and if they really want to play for ALB, make them wait the 10 days (or however many days it is) before they can resign. That will handicap them enough so they won't breeze to a 16-0 regular season and give the rest of the conference has a chance to catch up.

There is definitely potential ways to try and fix the situation. I've been told an attempt is being made to have Alb moved to a higher division to be replaced with, hopefully, someone whose team was gutted, or is otherwise either in a position where they need the chance to rebuild - which we know can be done here, and people will be happy for them anyway (Hey, look at the Cyberhawks), or they just need somewhere they're competitive with what they have.

In the meanwhile, can people not fan the flames? Hopefully they'll be moved up a notch or two, and this can just be a bad memory for everyone.

You have to realize that this world is full of people with E-Egos who need them fed and they will defend their actions, however dispicable, with anything they can think of that will get them off their backs. If its true then sorry but i for one do not trust anyone over the internet and i honestly feel that using your children as an excuse to do anything is retarded. I have 2 children of my own so if it were true i can sympathize. If he can provide proof i will retract my previous statement and apologize but i for one would never tell people my children were hospitalized because its none of your business. I would just vanish and noone would hear from me again. It was already stated that he doesnt care what i think of him but then why get so defensive. Just admit you gutted the team and stuck all your guys on the devils. Your children being hurt does not give you the right to do what you did. Oh well people will do what they do regardless. Sorry if i offended you with my statement chase as it was not meant to do so i just find people using their children as leverage a shame. I did not read all the pages after page one so if i missed anyone else flaming me oh well

I'm not the one in the wrong, i think i'm entitled to be pissed off at someone gutting a team a bringing all the players to a BBB league.

Had troubles in that league so you decided to make it easy for yourselves and win a trophies at the expense of other people working hard bringing up a team.

I don't sympathize DK. I have 3 kids of my own and I can assure you that if some RL problem happened to them the LAST place I would be is here. Yet the supposed victim has logged on repeatedly. admins appear to be aware of it and are looking into the situation. i'm sure this is going on in other leagues.

Just to let everyone know my kid is not the only reason I dropped the team. I dropped it cuz it took away from my RL and was going to most likely do it anyways. My kid getting sick(who is now better) just made my decision for me. So quit bringing up my damn kid being sick. TBH I wish that was never brought up in this topic but it was so let this post be the last of that.

Forgot to add I didn't give my players any money. I even bought the upgrades for the stadium before I left it. They prob will have 10 mil+ after season ticket sales.

I agree. I also propose that New Brunswick be forced to change leagues.

my unwanted two cents: (1) no reason to flame, its just the internets (2) i saw a post by bort saying he would not be doing any more league swaps (altho maybe this would be a special case) so that is unlikely to happen, but (3) mono/byron you should show some face and request a move up, because as has already been mentioned, there are plenty of teams that could use the move down-- everyone has already talked about how they are torn, because it would be really easy to do this same thing if we were in your situation, but at the same time its either ignorance or intentional shadiness, and you need to try to rectify this in our eyes. so until then, sorry, but devils, you are gonna be the art modell to my cleveland-- nothing personal, im just gonna root against you.

Mondays off and having a cookout. isn't hard to check in every 2 hours. I will go play if you join?lol
