Since this seems to be the happening DT thread, I will cross post my original inquiry here.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=316915

I want to continue to be the cog in the wheel of my D-Line with big Sammy here. Unfortunately I am at the point where I am unsure where to put points.

Training Vision right now.

-Does my Stamina need to be higher?
-Is Shed Block a good skill to have?
-Confidence to around 25? How much is too much?
-Do I need more Speed?

Thanks in advance for any help you send my way.

Don't touch special abilities anymore, you already have plenty. You to to use a lot of SP on Vision, training won't get the job done. You could also increase your speed. I went the complete opposite of most NT, I have lower Strengh, but very high speed and agility, and my guy does way better than most DTs.

*And don't do confidence or blocking, it's a waste.

Beating the LB to the hole. That is a nice replay.

After we play you,(Victoria Secret) can I peek at your build? Just Kidding. Unless you want to show me;-)

I tried to stay pretty balanced, but just levelled up to 16, and have my strength way up there. I was going to pound speed and agility next. Do you think one helped you more than the other?

Im not sure, Im really just all around good. Ill tell you my speed and agility are the same, and my strength is only ten points higher. My vision, speed, agilty, tackling, and stamina are all within about 5 points of eachother actually with strength 10 higher. I will show you my build after we play you if you want. And thanks as well, I work hard for plays like that. (Not really)

I will tell you for me it was a mistake to originally raise my speed and agilty. I was a pure strength based beast with points into strong base and my strength at the 2 point level, so I decided to raise my speed and agility to get to the QB even faster as sometimes they would get the ball away when I had a clear path to them. That set me way back, and my DT started to bounce off blockers and try to run around them, sometimes he would loop all the way around the DE... 8)

Now as a fixed my problem I am fine again, and wouldn't trade my build for anything, but for a good chunk of the end of last season and the start of this season, I was worthless. I had to use my boost earlier than I wanted to fix my problem, but now I am back on track.

It may be too high, but I think you could go to power tackling to cause more fumbles

I did that my last game with my guy who has tackling at 48 and he missed 2 tackles. Looks like it's still a risk even at that level.
