it would get rid of the deficit,quickly, and it would empty the prisons of petty criminals who are locked up for an ounce of weed, costing tax payers 35+ grand a year, a criminal. hell yes im for it, think about the taxes that would come from it....

the money part of it makes sense

Oh and with all the money ill be making, i would fund a bill to spay and neuter people who live in trailers and government provided housing

Government wastes a ton of money trying to fight pot and its pointless and completely stupid. They just cant accept that they lost the war a long time ago and they keep throwing money away. Legalize it already, its not gonna stop the street market sales.

Just because its legal, doesnt mean street dealers will stop selling and growing. Quality wont go down, if anything, it will promote better quality.

even tho I don't smoke anymore I definitely agree with this. Plus it would get guys out of jail who imo don't belong there. I'd rather have drug dealers on the streets then rapists or murderers
