It will be like season 18 and we will have been into the decline for awhile. I don't know. Just wondering.

It could decline like crazy and Bort would still make a fair amount of pocket change on it, so he could keep it alive for a pretty long time no matter how bad it dwindled away.

I was wondering if bort would even keep GLB running for longer than summer 2010. I'm not sure it has the superlongterm staying power

Doesn't matter to me, it looks like there are other games in the works, and it won't be very long before the football MMORPG market gets ramped up and blows this game out of the water. It's too bad, I would have liked to have seen Bort make it into a dominant and viral game, he had sooo much potential.

I still have not found any baseball games that are remotely close to being good, so here's to hoping that Bort takes a different approach with GLB Baseball, I can't wait for that to start, very anxious for a fun and interesting baseball sim, so hopefully Bort does something innovate there!

Yea, I mean, i see people starting farm league teams with tons of players for season 11 and i'm not really convinced enough to drop a lot of money on season 11 players that GLB will be around season 22 when they're maxed out.

I wouldn't count on it.

A ton of people are already pretty burned out and don't have the time / or want to put the time they used to into this game. And what's going to happen this off-season more than likely? More additions that will require people to spend more time in order to be as successful as they used to be.

Instead of fixing shit he just adds more bells and whistles.
