Emmaus plays today. Surprised at our opponent though, I would have thought someone else would have been their top seed (though who we have is not a slouch).

gg and, no need to be surprised

Guaranteed Tie?

You just better hope you win tonite. 3KW will beat the Gunners anyway, so i think SEAPL will be taking this.

Still a very close tourney though.

SEAPL was 7 for 10 matching up against the top 10 in EEPL.

Not bad.

And 7 for 12 in the top 12. Can't go breaking this down by arbitrary cutoffs, Rob. It was a league wide challenge, to judge the strength of the leagues top to bottom. Not a top 10 or top 12 challenge

And 7 for 12

or 13 for 24.

Your pick.

SEAPL still roughed EEPL up including the top 3, and 7 of the top 10. That's a telling stat.

You can't honestly tell me any league wants to have the best "11-32" teams, and a 30% winning percentage with its top 10. It's over.

Can't say it any better than rob did.

The point of the tourny was to see which league was better. It is awesome that SEAPL won the entire thing but IMO its way more impressive that SEAPL went 7-3 in the top 10 match ups.

I mean theoretically your top 12 teams could all win, and our bottom 13 could have all win and SEAPL would have won 13-12. Does that really mean SEAPL>EEPL?

SEAPL didn't win it yet, 2 games to be played.

Also, the strength of a league isn't in the top three teams, its throughout. Challenge CPL's west conference...you will kill every team but 2 or 3...they will go 2/3 or 3/3 out of the top ranked ones.

Doesn't make it at all better.

So what will you say if SEAPL wins one of those two games?

If SEAPL wins the overall crown AND beat up on the top teams including the two EEPL golden boys?

What will be the excuses then?

Note: Obviously I was pulling for the Fightin' Green, but I think Jazz got ESL a little "jazzed" up with his comment. Being in both leagues, SEAPL has 7 or 8 Emmaus's and drop offs after that. EEPL is just currently inferior.

Besides... I could beat Kanaan with my eyes closed

lol, you are so cocky man!

But you haven't won the crown yet.....you did beat what most believe to be the two best but also consider that these rankings were made by 2-3 agents based on 6 weeks of rankings. The ballers barely beat the Bulldogs...yet we smoked them out of the water....its all about the proper match ups.

SEAPL does not have 7 or 8 Emmaus's....thats just a joke!! Emmaus is one of the best in the game (Maybe 15th in the gameish...probably better) there is no way you have 7 to 8.

Sit back and take an unbiased look...SEAPL is not that strong lol.

So "matchups" will be the excuse then?

At least you answered the question
