Wouldn't it be strategic to just recruit 15 more guys? I don't understand why you take such a huge stand against making your roster any bigger. It's like such a moral issue with you that you argue almost as heated as someone would argue for/against abortion lol. It's really not that big of a deal.

If all those penalties are being applied on every play, every roll, every player, why not just get more people? GLB isn't the NFL. You've been here for 10 seasons...I figured this out like season 2. It's never going to be the NFL. It's an arcade-like simulation of football.

Winning games only matters to me if the game is fun. To recruit a 55 man roster would destroy what this game is all about from my perspective and it's against my programming to do so. I want to play a "football game", not a game called, "who can conform to my ridiculously stupid rule of find 55 guys to recruit". There's no appeal to playing that 2nd game for me.

And again, conforming would just add to more encouragement to Bort to not change it. I'd rather see his game deteriorate and dismantle upon itself so that it will become more obvious to him that he needs to make a change, and that COULD result in a fun game. Right now that is the only path I see to arrive at a fun game, so I'm hoping that more and more people leave the game and quit the game to give him the motivation to design a better game, cause it's all about the game to me and how to get a better game, and right now this game is a complete F-bomb, and it only has one way to go, and that is up. So why should I conform to the dumb rule and delay the ascension from F status to A status?

Oh I forgot that we even had a game today, just looked, 274 yards for IceCold!, nice! lol

I really don't see how there is any complaint about 55. The Marauders have 49 and I could at MAX live without 2 of them. Any less would just be poor management (even a real football team doesn't have any less than that active and playing). Along with this I see very little gain in going from a 50ish to 55 man roster.

Your comment doesn't even make any sense. So what if you are willing to live without them? You are making it sound like you don't need them, and no you don't have to have them to survive, but whether YOU are comfortable in living without them or not, doesnt change the fact that it does impact your statistical probability to win.

If you have 40 guys like me and are short 55, that doesnt mean that you are FREE from any disadvantage by having 49 instead of 51 because you "don't notice 2"! LOL

It just means your odds of margin that you give up to the opponent is less, so maybe you are playing with a 48% dice roll instead of a 50% like you should be entitled to. If you are flipping coins all day, you are sill going to find that you lose EXTRA whether you realize it or not or perceive it or not. Your disadvantage is happening to you just as it is to me, just in a smaller and less obvious proportion of which you could never objectively measure in a quantifiable and precise way.

My personal opinion is that TSE knew he was never getting to the top, and this is an easy way out while trying to save face. Once the Manning situation happened, combined with losing his OC/DC at the same time, that was the beginning of the end for DDL. That being said, he has stuck to this argument for several seasons now, so props to him for that.

Just for TSE I think that Motivational Speaker VA should be changed so that it works better for smaller rosters.

It makes sense, one guy has less people to get pumped up, it should be much more effective.

Funny that TSE complains aboput roster size now. Back when DDL was the sign and sell middle eastern bazar of GLB, he was moving dots for cash to get the super sized stadium. Now that his team is a bottom dweller the original exploiter of the game is blaming it on a rule that no one else has issue with

One more thing. I call tse out for his team not doing a thing since the advanced AI came into play. His response was that I am a loser and have no proof of this. I think DDLs record is all the proof I need.

A true expert in strategy would win despite the rules not being pleasant

You claim your losses are because you have, for morale reasons (as opposed to no one wanting to play for you any more) decided to go with a minute roster which has caused the rapid downfall of a once adequate franchise.

There are some advantages to a smaller roster also TSE.

Yep I'm still here, just sitting idle and patient in hopes that this game can become fun again, or in the very least about football. I like football and I like games. But right now GLB isn't really related to either of those 2 things. It's just a complete abortion at the moment. Although I now have my doubts that Bort will evolve this thing into a good game, so my hope is that he will do a better job with the baseball game, and if/when he does that you will see me on there just as much as you used to see me on here.
