well in that example its also the KOS fault for having DEs and DTs on the outside. for some strange reason they put their speed guys in the middle of the field where they get eaten up by big bodies on the inside, then they only have slower guys trying to catch the ball carrier on the outside. if they had their smaller faster guys on the outside that might not have happened

Congrats, but there was some strangeness in the sim. I highly doubt he's making it up either... if you do the math, the FBs got over 50% of the carries, with the starting FB getting more than 1/3rd of the entire team's rushes and 20% more carries than both starting HBs combined.

Great game. Very exciting just as I had predicted it would be. Couple of crazy plays that I'm sure caused both coaches to go bonkers but exciting all around.

i agree that sometimes the sim appears wack. however, what i think of is those nfl game where a team comes out of the locker room and gets knocked off its game plan sometimes. perhaps a costly turnover shifts momentum or the home crowd stays to boo a personnel decision and suddenly the wheels come off the apple cart. the players arent on the same page, the lineman forget the audibles, some selfish jerk goes all randy moss taking plays off or whatever. i think the sims deviation sometimes could be thought of as that. that having been said i still wish the sim would simply DO WHAT I TELL IT TO DO. hehe.

I could understand that, but look at the play by play and tell me that what happens is anything like that... we went from a prolific offensive attack to being coached by Ron Turner, basically doing the same exact plays over and over again for the entire first half.

First half... 6 rushing attempts, 5 by the starting FB.
First series of the 3rd quarter... 8 rushing attempts total, 7 by the starting FB.

Just doesn't make much sense, regardless of how you imagine it. Especially when your game-plan calls for a ~70-30 split in favor of the HB. I had over 90% of the team's carries until midway through the 3rd quarter.
