In all honesty I expected to get slammed a bit, called a quitter, maybe a few choice words sent my way for doing it when I did. But my concern was more for finding a new home for my players then to give a shit what any rival owner thought. I was ready to take whatever shot was thrown my way and ready to accept it and say you're right I quit. But to go through the motions and not give it 110% when all these players are in their last few seasons of their career was far worse punishment then anything you or anyone else could sling at me. So don;t hold back if that's what floats you're boat. I'm ready and have been expecting it. It just didn't come like I thought it would.

Yea to be sure, quitting is the right move given that putting in the required effort is not an option.

I think you're getting less shit because you've been a stand up owner and WEPL/WEAAA contributor forever. Plus, the fact that you're winless means that no ones is being farked over by the midseason move. Plus, it looks like you're a Skins fan and who could be angry with such fine people.

I'm more surprised that you're quitting than anything else. And a little disappointed. Belfast had a decent 1st season in WEPL but it's been a struggle ever since. Has taken a lot of time and we're still not getting towards the playoffs at the moment. I know the time it takes to run a team so can understand you quitting the team but hope you're hanging around in WEPL!

Of course, that said, I still don't see the point in flipping out on people for throwing in the towel. If it were a 1 season thing, then sure; but a lot of people have held teams for many seasons; you can't expect everyone to stick it out all the time.
