Actually I did attend college, and where I did half of my undergrad at has a decently good football program... however, they are in the Pac-10 so they always get the shaft.
As much as I'd love to agree with you about the actual game... the Bull Cunt Shit ranking system, where faggots from the SEC, Big 10, etc. will rank a team with 1 loss (and that 1 loss being to the #1 ranked team in the nation that year, USC) in the teens is absolute horse shit.
Until people like you see the light and jump ship from that pathetic fucking system with people like me, we'll always be subject to this crock of shit system that rewards the Good 'Ol Boys.
Eh, I can't speak for those who it rewards since my alma mater has been "left out" twice recently, including '07. I can say without a doubt though that whether or not I "jump ship from that pathetic system" has zero influence over its existence.
The BCS is here until the school Presidents just ship from it, which sadly I don't expect anytime soon.
Again, though, the games themselves are much more enjoyable to watch (or even better, attend) than any other sport today...

I live in Florida, where College Football is the shit! I've attended Florida State games, UF games, USF games, UCF games, and UM games and nothing else compares to drunk college kids having the fucking time of their lives as their favorite team kicks the shit out some other team!
