Warrior General Games

One team from one conference beating a team from another conference one time only says so much about how the two conferences stack up--especially when it was a game that could've gone either way like this one. To sneak out a 4th quarter win, then turn around at the other conference and say they're inferior is not only a horrible conclusion to draw, but also generally poor sportsmanship.

If you look at the scrims between the other playoff teams--which are *kind of* fair game since neither side plans anyway--I'd say it's pretty close. There's been a lot of back and forth, and almost all the games have been competitive.

I don't think that many of us Alpha guys were ever claiming we were clearly better or anything--at least I never was. But a few Zeta loudmouths keep making it seem like they're the way better conference or something, which is pretty ridiculous. At this point, I think most of the more even-keeled owners and GMs agree that Alpha and Zeta are pretty close as it stands.

Cmon ...Bonn was the best in Alpha, BFM down by 11, came back from behind to win in the 4th.

BFM is from Zeta so Zeta is better then Alpha.

Makes perfect sense.

Had it been me I sure as hell woulda said it, but not because I actually felt it but because it get's tiring hearing the same shit all season from the Zeta guys.

Funny thing is from top to bottom I do think Zeta is the better conference. However if it were the reverse i don't think i'd feel the need to announce it at every opportunity.

No, I simply said, playoff games in Zeta were much more competitive, while Bonn tore through Alpha...

Zeta>Alpha...

Also, our comeback win is minor, compared to OFG and MEM, and tons of the pro titles had come back wins..

The fact we were down only 11 proves that none of that big heart shit helped, not like I have us investing in those VAs..

So what, the game was close, but one team had to win..

really i dont think its said very often as opposed to previous seasons. i was in alpha every season prior to joining the ballers so i can also see that side of the argument. but the point is its all in good fun, nobody is taking shots at anyone, just inciting a little rivalry. i'm sure you guys want to beat the zeta teams that much more now that we are saying this and thats what its all about.

Why do you say that??

I have a simple point..

Bonn tore through Alpha, BFM had a rocky road in Zeta and was able to beat Bonn...(yes, barely, but a win is a win)

It makes me feel Zeta has the better top 8 teams..

Nobody in Alpha got within 24 points of Bonn, BFM was two yards from staying at home for the conference championship...

it's like when out of the blue I get a challenge from BFM in the middle of the season. I accept and BFM goes on to win and immediately after you cant wait to get on the forum and say ..what was it...Alpha sucks...lol
