I doubt the unethical part; buyer beware, as they say. It takes like, two, three clicks to check banned v. not banned, and you have to make those clicks anyway to see when they were last active (is the guy making a move in hour 47 of his inactivity?).

As you said, he had 52 banned guys on his roster. What was he supposed to do, cut them all and play with 4 until he managed to sign a bunch of free agents (and take a "Look who's gutted their team, outrage!" beating on the forums, no doubt)?

he should have never had had the option to dump the banned players. that should have been done for him by the admins. the sim would have filled out the roster with cpus, which in essense and per admin Digglas were exactly what the banned players had become anyway.

now i know what you are thinking kool aid drinker, you cant blame the non-banned owner for having all those banned players. i will respond to that in two parts - 1) as has been already said i dont know how you sign FIFTY TWO OF FIFTY SIX players who are cheating accidently to 10 year minimum contracts. that alone defies belief. 2) i will use your own argument, let the buyer beware. if the onwer was not complicit in the cheating, he still should have done a better job of weeding out the cheaters.

he and others have tried to make that argument from the beginning. apparently in their mind having a good team is automatically 'unfair' somehow, regardless of how you got good

it sounds like how i used to think when i was twelve, which is a distinct possibility

i think in hindsight the admins would handle something like this (richmond at start of season) differently now. it was a lot harder back then to predict it would end up this way

I got caught on this team of cheaters and I can tell you without question that the owner of the team was the one responsible for 30+ fake accounts.


Here is a PM I sent to every one of the new players:


Do you get it yet about this team. The owner syracuseorange created at least 30 accounts with a player in each of them for this team. 90% of his accounts have been banned but he is still at it. Notice all of the inactives and banned accounts right? Well each one of those players are at least 5 levels below what they say they are because since they are banned they haven't been updated with SPs all season. That is why the team is now starting and will continue to lose games.


The only thing I can't figure out is why he is now trying to sink the team with all of these crazy signings. He has signed 3 Cs for average of $100K+. He has signed 4 mid level RBs for $120K each, 4 DEs for a $120K each, 5 LBs for $120K each, 3 CBs for $120K+. I think he has just went crazy with anger at the game creators for wrecking his plan and is trying to kill the team. Unfortunately he will waste a year of your player's career with it.

Anyways don't (do not) believe a single word that comes out of his or the GM's mouth as they are the same person and terrible liars. At least you probably got a lot of money but forget about him letting you go unless there is something great in it for him. The problem is that he signed most of you to contracts that no one will want to take on because they are too expensive.
