Jay was/is borderline alcoholic at the end of the season...it's not good and hopefully he gets it together.

He blows up and get's hella frustrated when things don't go his way. He's got what it takes to throw a rock through your skull if needed and hopefully he can do well, but I am dying to see how the Bears use him as I don't see him satisfied with dink and duck ball or a heavy dose of the run....he's had his way since high school and doesn't know any other way.

I'm excited for the Bears and I hope Jay gets his shit together especially so he can do well for them. IF any franchise deserves a good franchise QB, its those Bears.

That is the only way I don't see this Bears Cutler thing working out. Just that damn bad QB karma that the Bears have. Then again they have made their own luck for so many years. 1st round pick for Rick Mirer anyone?

I agree. but at the same time, he's 26. Let him live his life.

As long as he shows up to play on Sunday I could probably care less

This might be just me, but I wouldn't want a hung over QB for a very important game.

Bears with a nice under the radar move today. This is sure to help make the defense even better.

bout time

once the pats inked lenon, i knew pisa would be a bear

Briggs, Urlacher and Pisa?

Nice LB core

EDIT: and they locked up Idonije? Nice. Bears with one of the best offseasons in recent memory.

Pisa? He got cut from a 2-14 team. Not saying he's a bad LB and Lovie definitely knew how to use him but he's not a great LB and I'd rather have Culberson starting instead of him.

Well, the Vikings made a few solid off-season moves as well, hopefully they won't fall for the fake victim known as Brett Favre.

He wasn't cut for performance. He was cut because he was an undersized LB in who doesn't fit Spag's system.

Well he was more cut because of his salary and they didn't want to pay an injury prone LB that much when they have plenty of LBs including a young guy ready to start in Pisa's spot.(Culberson)
