1 Green Bay Maulers: Could end up the only undefeated team in the league this season. No one has found an answer for their interior D line yet, it looks like Sledge and Tricon would like to get another USPL title
2 Monmouth Evil Monkeys: They have rolled ever since the opening day loss at home. They could very well finish 15-1
3 Cincinnati Shockers:
4 Minnesota Marauders: Outside of the lone loss to Compton, they are rolling. But if you look closely, they aren’t killing teams. Luckily they get a freebie next week at Deadwood before traveling to Hawaii
5 Washington Wolfpack: #1 defense and #3 offense, makes me think that their numbers are a bit skewed after playing Deadwood. The loss to MM this week drops them a few spots.
6 Las Vegas Gamblers: Hazy is at it again. I would like to have him higher, but the head scratcher to Richey and the loss to GB have knocked them down a few
7 Honolulu Hurricane Warriors: Losses to Compton and Carolina are puzzling, but it looks like they just haven’t figured the SIM out yet as they are just middle of the pack in just about every category.
8 ***Official*** Footballguys: Since their failed OC experiment, Duffman has righted the ship and has them cruising. Big week in W7 to see what NAN is made of.
9 Alpine Golfers: The NKOTB have pummeled everyone in front of them so far, but GB gave them a reality check. They have the talent to challenge for a home playoff game this season.
10 San Diego Lightning: Beat a good Spicewood team and Wolfpack, losses to MM, GB and HHW show that they are right on the cusp of going big time though.
11 Chicago Hedgehogs: Undefeated, but haven’t beaten anyone outside of OFG and Lincoln, both of which seem to have still be sorting out the SIM. Next week will be the real test at MEM.
12 Northwest Arkansas Naturals: Paper tigers. The record is nice, but they are in for their first true tests over the next 5 weeks to see if they are pretenders or contenders.
13 Lincoln Navigators: The new SIM hasn’t been kind to them, but their romp today and their #1 defense will keep them in the playoff hunt until they can get their offensive woes sorted out.
14 Compton Vikings: Big wins at MM and against HHW have put them on a hot streak. They will rack up some W's over the next week and a half.
15 Over The Rhine Red Dots: Big win over the Ticks, but beyond that they haven’t really shown me anything. The blowout to DDL says a lot.
16 Richey Royals: After a brutal schedule and sticking with the top teams in the East and West, Richey finally pulled one off against LV. They'll lose to GB, but I expect a string of W's after that to get them back in the playoff hunt.
17 Detroit Demon Lions: Mercurial is the best way to describe them this season. TSE needs to find some consistency with the SIM if they have any hope of challenging this season.
18 Texas Roughnecks: The Texas Ticks are just killing the bottom feeders in the West, but while I expect them to make the playoffs, they need to get their D in shape before they are a true contender.
19 Indianapolis Gurupies: Good win against Richey. This slow build group will be in the playoff hunt.
20 Washington Bullets: They have fallen off the pace this season. Losses to Pitt and NAN are highly telling.
21 Carolina Hammer: Big wins over HHW and OFG (before Duffman took back control of the O), but since then it has been one beating after another. They will have to do more on offense if they want to make the playoffs.
22 Bourbon Street Bullies: Stayed close to some upper level teams in the conference, but I just don’t think they have enough to make it to the playoffs.
23 Columbus Woodys: They could be 1 - 11 before they get their first win.
24 South Bay Spartans: They've beaten no one except for a staggering week 1 against the Bullets, I just don’t expect much from them unless they do a complete overhaul to the team.
25 Las Vegas Freebirds: I wouldn’t call it a come back considering they just eked past NY-CA.
26 Parma Burglars: A horribly mismanaged collection of talent.
27 Pittsburgh Steel: Interesting win against the Bullets and the Coyotes before they stopped trying.
28 NY-CA Ground Pounders: Looking forward to the week 15 in the battle for relegation!!
29 Dallas Vaqueros: Looking forward to the week 15 in the battle for relegation!!
30 Chocolate City Cha Chings:
31 Kalamazoo Coyotes: Sad end to a storied franchise
32 Spicewood Longhorns: I really wish I had had a chance to DC them last season. They were stacked top to bottom, the Berf's just finally got to RJ.

The Gurupies are far from a slow build team. All of our players were created at the end of season 1 when we joined this game. We had no clue what the hell things did let alone what slow build was

It's true. the season 3 guys (whose owners knew what was up) will all be a good deal better than most season 1s

Yep, my slow build OL are already far and above what my 1st season OL were at the same levels.

Well, I'm sure that blowing NY-CA out would have helped on ranks made BEFORE the game. Also quite sure that Lincoln don't have to win to be above us and Texas. Btw, lincoln lost to texas and have worst record, still Texas is down there. Maybe they should have blown out Lincoln to get higher, right?

I agree that Texas and Compton should be ahead of us atm but that will probably change as the season moves along. After Sunday's games I think we will be ahead of Compton on everyone's list.

JTD, et al.... cute but please note that Texas Roughnecks common abbreviation is not Ticks but rather TxR. lawdawg has built this team up from the original owner's mostly-Aggie team into the tight unit that it is today and the designation TxR reflects that image much better... this is not a one-trick pony but a squad that has been able to adapt to the borts each season with a modicum of success in large part due to the unity of the entire roster. thanks.

When the Tick no longer accounts for 58% of your offensive yardage by himself, I'll start calling you TxR. Until then, you guys are a one trick pony, albeit a very, very good trick

Updated rankings after yesterdays games:

1 Green Bay Maulers: Could end up the only undefeated team in the league this season. No one has found an answer for their interior D line yet, it looks like Sledge and Tricon would like to get another USPL title

5 Washington Wolfpack: #5 defense and #6 offense, makes me think that their numbers are a bit skewed after playing Deadwood. The loss to MM hurt, but the win over HHW helps a lot.
6 Las Vegas Gamblers: Hazy is at it again. I would like to have him higher, but the head scratcher to Richey and the loss to GB have knocked them down a few
7 Alpine Golfers: The NKOTB have pummeled everyone in front of them so far, but GB gave them a reality check. They have the talent to challenge for a home playoff game this season.
8 Northwest Arkansas Naturals: The tiger has some teeth. The win over OFG, tells me that these guys are for real.
9 San Diego Lightning: Beat a good Spicewood team and Wolfpack, losses to MM, GB and HHW show that they are right on the cusp of going big time though.
10 Chicago Hedgehogs: No longer undefeated, but haven’t beaten anyone outside of OFG and Lincoln, both of which seem to have still be sorting out the SIM. The loss to MEM was expected, but the final score wasnt. They need to regroup next week.
11 Compton Vikings: Big wins at MM and against HHW have put them on a hot streak. They will rack up some W's over the next week and a half.
12 Over The Rhine Red Dots: Big win over the Ticks, but beyond that they haven’t really shown me anything. The blowout to DDL says a lot.

15 ***Official*** Footballguys: Since their failed OC experiment, Duffman has righted the ship and has them cruising. Big upset this week as OFG pulls up short against NAN and drops several spots.
16 Honolulu Hurricane Warriors: They are quickly tumbling into mediocrity.
17 Indianapolis Gurupies: Good win against Richey. This group will be in the playoff hunt. Big come back win against Carolina this week helps their cause.
18 Richey Royals: After a brutal schedule and sticking with the top teams in the East and West, Richey finally pulled one off against LV. They'll lose to GB, but I expect a string of W's after that to get them back in the playoff hunt.

Seriously, I don't want to offend you, but yours are the worst rankings I've seen in a long time.

Cincinnati below MEM? Ok, maybe you didn't want to put your team too high, I can understand that I suppose.

Hedgehogs below SDL? Oh really?

Lincoln Navigators as 13th? LOL, you got to be kidding me. They may not even make the playoffs if they keep it going like that and you are ranking them on 13?

Compton below HHW? oh really, we have better record and we won over them. I don't care if it was a close win, a win is a win.

Texas below lincoln?

really, I could go on, but i doubt you even watch the teams you rank. You are not ranking the teams, you are ranking names here. 'Lincoln is more famous, so 13rd', 'HHW? Way more famous than Compton, so let's rank them there.' "Who is texas? pfft, let me put this guys down there". "Hedgehogs, I don't like their name, they are 6-0? So what? 11 for them.'

Jrry is right, I base my rankings on potential and looking at SoS. I stand by the top two teams as both will most likely win out the rest of the season and end up the #1 seeds in their conferences.

Hedgehogs still havent beaten anyone and they blow out loss to MEM tells me that their cupcake schedule had a lot to do with the 6-0 start. They barely beat Lincoln and OFG, both of whom have been perennial playoff teams and who clearly struggled out of the gate this season but have come back strong in their Tourney play and regular season games.

Lincoln will be judged by their games tomorrow and Tuesday.

HHW has been adjusted accordingly after their recent loss.

I really couldn't care less WHAT he calls us. The fact that Tick is coming into USAPL in his first season and absolutely owning the West MVP race and put the team at 5-2 pretty much makes up for any cute nickname Besides, I hardly think it's done out of spite. Ya gotta bring your sense of humor in this forum for sure

The Tick is lucky that MJD is in a 3 RB rotation. I'm also lucky that MJD is not as terrible as he usually is.

It is what it is If you're an elusive back you're getting paid off this season for season after season of uselessness (other than receiving)
