I know we have had some correspondence and had a lot of common frustrations, so it's sad to see you go. I apologize I was never vocal enough about my frustrations like you were, but getting ripped by a majority of trolls was a bigger waste of mine time. Good luck with your future endeavors...it's truly a sad day.

What a baby. Take the league with you while you're at it. That is just pathetic despite who may or may not like you.

Your statement about the MVP race tells us all we need to know about your motives. Try growing up.

This post was linked to this forum, so even though I don't have any teams/players here, I don't particularly care for self obsessed owners who play the "I quit Card" and punishes the league for it. (This was for lawdawg who posted above me like an idiot)

At least you could have been a man and finished the season. Who knows your dot may have won the MVP, which seems like all you really care about.

His motives were to win USA Pro...plain and simple...Spicewood had the one of the best passing games there is, if not the best...in case you havent noticed...the convo of the season was that Hugh was running away with the MVP race...try thinking before posting...rj wanted to hang it up many times...but only stuck around for the agents...what is pathetic are people like you...who have no idea how fucked this game is....

Did you really need to sell right after the season started? If you were thinking about it for awhile, why not in the offseason? Or at least give it your best and play the season out. Hell...if you're sick of gameplanning, then don't gameplan. At least your team is still here and giving other teams SOMEWHAT of a challenge.

But quitting right after the season starts by selling your team back right away? There's no need for that.

whats the point Sik? does it really matter? its not like Spicewood gutting is going to change the statistics much...

It's fun to have a complete league. This was going to be the first season in a long time where all 32 teams were competitive and gunning for the title. Yet people are quitting 3 games into the season.

Hey I look at it like this. He is a child who has thrown a temper tantrum affecting more than just himself.

He punished his entire team but quitting so early in the season.

He punished his league for turning his team CPU by quitting.

He cried, and has been crying about the MVP race that must mean more to him than his team.

He probably has other issues other than the game that may have sparked this emo rage to quit out of the blue.

I don't care if this is Western Europe AA. I would say the same thing about any owner that posted the original post that was saturated with immaturity and his own selfish interests.

He may have been a great owner at one time, and I have enjoyed some of his posts, but this one action nullifies anything he may have brought to the game in the past.

Why are people who enjoy the game for what it is "pathetic", while people who seemingly draw no joy from it yet spend their time on it made to seem righteous and cool?

Truth hurts huh? One thing that should be obvious from most of my posts. I don't take crybabies very well, and if you whine incessantly about an MVP trophy, and screw over hundreds of people, I will hammer your behind like no tomorrow.

This is just you speaking out of your ass because you don't have any context. Read this thread to see that it wasn't about the MVP, but about how his QB's stats against two good secondaries shows how borted the sim is:

I didn't say it was perfect - there's still room for improvement, but it's soooooo much better than last season. You actually have to account for more than one play now.

That alone doesn't make it better. Having to account for it is one thing; Being simply *unable* to account for it is something else. Example:

SDL has a VERY large amount of depth. Presumably they have their dedicated ST unit loaded up with the special teamer VA. For a team that does not have the luxury of that much depth (and that many selfless players willing to play STs, devote their build to special teams roles, and possibly take a hit in experience because of it), countering it is extremely difficult. There is no way to force a kickoff to avoid the return man, and there is no way to force a fair catch.

SW's passing game is good. But for Hugh Laurie to be able to throw for 700 yards on Dryden and then 800 on SDL, 2 excellent and evenly matched secondaries, that's just absurd. Zone coverage is useless, and even with DPC it is impossible to cover everybody heavily all the time - single coverage will happen somewhere. Throw in big heart on a receiver, and you now have something that they have to account for, but can't.

rj spent hours...hours...scouting for our games this season...hell...he even went through and hand picked the special teams for that SDL game....and all for what? Big Heart, Special teams, and ridiculous passing statistics to ruin even watching games....there is no fun in that. Sorry.

Actually I don't. If anything I underestimate it.
