Malcom Jenkins baby!! Saints are super bowl bound!!!

Hell yeah. Love the pick.

yup...tigerbait will argue this one, but I'm really glad they didn't pick up chris "red beans and rice" wells. Glad peyton stayed away from the offense and continued to shore up the defense.

We drafted a CB to move him to FS. Typical Saints draft. I was hoping the could move down but no ever gives us shit. The Browns can move down 3 times and get shit. Why can't some team give us shit. I want some shit. At least they didn't draft a WR or D-linemen.

Really??? I did feel kinda bad for him in not even being able to enjoy the best moment of his career so far because everyone in the place was booing :/

I used to pray for Al Davis to croak, but now I'm rooting for that old lich king to hang on into his 100's. The man makes GREAT picks.

bears suck...so it makes sense...

its ok....they will likely still kick the packers ass considering they picked an OLB to play ILB. I mean....i guess the Packers couldnt go terribly wrong here...but it just seems like the packer thing to do....pick a guy and talk about how he can play any position....meanwhile....he really cant...

Raji though was a very good pick imo. Him not going to the Packers was on my wishlist for the draft. although I think i'm more upset that Harvin went the viks....SOO much talent over there now, if Jackson every puts it all together watch out

Never thought I would ever say this in my life time, but I thought the Bengals had the best draft in 09. They were able to snag in three projected first round picks and made a good call in rolling the dice on Andre Smith IMO. Whether he botched the combine or not, the fact remains that Smith was an absolute animal in the toughest conference of College Football. Marvin Lewis knows he's on the hot seat and he needs a big time playmaker to save his job. Monroe would have been the safe pick, but rolling the dice on Smith is necessary if they want to compete in what is becoming one of the more dangerous divisions in the NFL.

And can anyone say with complete certainty that Maualuga is the worst LB of the USC trio? I'm sure several teams, if they had a need at LB, would have taken him in front of English/Cushing/Matthews; an absolute tremendous steal for the Bengals to take him as the fifth overall linebacker.

I hope the Cincy over/under season win total is low. They are looking like a great dark horse.

haha me too, though if Jenkins wouldn't have fallen to us, we would have at least had some good trade bait. Hey, maybe if we could have traded down there we would have had more picks to trade up for a better punter? Fucking Payton.

I was really hoping the 49ers would take Oher with the 10th pick. The Ravens got a really underrated (imo) OT taking him esp. so late in the first round.

But, the more I think about it, them ore I like the Crabtree pick, because with Bruce sticking around for another year, he will be able to learn from one of the most consistently good WR in the league and hopefully will make an impact next year, if not this year. With Josh Morgan across from crabtree, the niners are developing a very good WR tandem.

Don't know about what you guys think, but I think the Packers put together a solid draft and filled needs pretty well this draft.

The ravens got the steal of the draft taking Oher that low. He was a projected top ten pick in the draft. He was also a projected top 3 pick in the months leading up to the draft.

im pretty happy with what we did. Only that FB i dont get.

Im not a big fan of Raji, but hopes he does well. On the other hand, im a huge fan of us trading down to take that OLB! Seriously he is one of the best guys and fits GB so well. He is a workhorse, been feed NFL by his entire family his entire life and he will keep getting better. Matthews is my favorite GB guy as of now. Plus we addressed o-line with some solid picks, guys who can play all over the line, which last year showed us we really need. Plus with the 2-3 WRs we picked up in the non-drafted pool, we are pretty much set for next season. Still would love one big FA signing to def besides the safety, but not going to happen.

um..he was? I dont think I ever heard of Oher as a top 3 pick as he was consistently the 4th rated OT behind J. Smith, A. Smith and Monroe.

He was actually considered a 15-25 pick for most of the pre-draft thing and I never saw him as a top 10 projected until Todd Mcshay randomly had him at #10 to San Fran night before the draft but up until that point, no.

Oher>>Crabtree wouldve been a retarded pick to be honest, still amazed at Al Davis' pure stupidity and the Niners stroke of blind luck.

GBay had a good draft but I dont think its the "best" like Mel dipshit Kiper says. Definitely a good pickup with Raji but Matthews??Mauluga not the best pick whether hes an OLB or not.

Eagles might have had the best draft value-wise. As an Eagles fan, this is gonna sound biased but bear with me.

1st (19)--traded up from 21 to snag Jeremy Maclin, best returner and 2nd best WR in draft (thx Al Davis), biggest steal of the 1st round

1st (28)- gor from Carolina for last seasons 1st (which they used to pick Otah) and then traded this pick for Jason Peters. Otah for Peters?? haha. good trade gives us a top 5 LT

2nd--Lesean Mccoy: #4 rb in draft behind Moreno, Wells and Brown. Better than Brown IMO (idk why the hell Brown went over Wells) and is the best receiving back of all of em. Essentially a Westbrook clone, and our eventual starter by 2012

5th-Cornelius Ingram- top 4 TE and was drafted behind many TEs that he is clearly better than (for example Richard Quinn picked by Denver #64, terrible pick)

5th--Victor Macho Harris--very underrated CB and one of the top playmakers in draft. A bit too much of a risk-taker but wll be just fine as a nickelback or 3rd safety in passing situations. Not a great fundamentalist but a great ballhawk.

So um all of our 1st 4 picks can be considered steals and went 10+ picks below where they were projected. No character issues and we traded one pick for an elite LT

?uestions anyone? filled several needs as well and didnt waste a pick on Pettigrew in 1st but smartly waited for value at that position later and snagged the most explosive WR in draft (Maclin>>Harvin)
